To quote the wildly popular adage: The winter is coming.

After years of writing and playing for innumerable bands and projects, singer/composer/producer/lyricist/multi‐instrumentalist Tuoma

Saukkonen towards the end of 2012 decided to foil all his bands and projects and start anew, founding a melodic death metal solo

project Wolfheart. On the project's debut album “Winterborn”, Saukkonen played all instruments (with Mika Lammassaari as his sole

guest for guitar solos) and also self ‐financed the album release in late 2013. To cap off a phenomenal year for Wolfheart, “Winterborn”

was elected the best debut album of 2013 in the annual Record Store X's customers’ poll.

Wolfheart's 2nd

album “Shadow World”, scheduled for release on August 21, was recorded at Grindhouse Studio in Athens, Greece and

SoundSpiral Audio in Kouvola, Finland. Unlike its predecessor, “Shadow World” is a full blown team effort with each of the wolven‐

hearted men playing their own parts. The band also participated in song‐writing, with lead guitarist Mika Lammassaari offering creative

input on two of the album's songs.

Already a product of a band entering the upper echelon of Finnish metal exports, “Shadow World” carries all the Wolfheart stamps of

Winter Metal excellence already audible on Winterborn: unabatedly raging double bass drum attacks, intricate equilibrium between

savage riffs and the arresting melodies of folk metal‐influenced twin guitar leads, combined with Saukkonen's ferocious growls and we

timed dashes of black metal brutality and doom dirge resulting to a decidedly Finnish brand of melodic death metal sound.

A storm is brewing and it isn't about to abate any time soon. Prepare for a new Aeon of Cold!

CB4 is the soundtrack to the comedy film of the same title. The original soundtrack was released through MCA Records on

March 2, 1993 and consists mainly of hip hop tracks. The movie primarily parodies the rap group, N.W.A., among other

gangsta rap aspects. Blackstreet’s “Baby Be Mine” became a charting single, making it to #17 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts.

Three songs were credited to the fictional CB4 group from the movie. The trio consisted of Chris Rock and rappers, Daddy‐

Originally released on legendary imprint 99 Records in 1981, War Of Words is the classic debut album by Singers &

Players, a loose collective featuring top Jamaican deejays Prince Far I and Jah Woosh, plus members of the Arabs andRoots Radics. The mic is dominated on this record by the sweet vocals of cover star Bim Sherman.

Whilst very much based on a dub reggae blueprint, the record also features Keith Levene from Public Image Limited onguitar and Ar i Up from The Slits on backing vocals. Kingston sound system culture as viewed through the prism of theLondon post-punk squat scene, and championed by the quintessential downtown NYC no wave record label.

The track “Reaching The Bad Man” was a highlight of the recent compilation Sherwood At The Controls Volume One: 1979 1984, and is very much a product of that era of Adrian Sherwood’s leftfield experiments with the possibilities of dub.

Re-cut at dubplates & mastering in Berlin for maximum bass pressure. Includes a fold-out poster insert and download card.

shipwreck: the ice‐cold embrace of the sea this as always has been turned to molten lead in the utmost atmospheric manner by Ahab! Since the band

founding in late 2004, the four‐piece has continuously worked its way to the top of (funeral) doom. The Boats of the Glen Carrig is their magnum opus
