Ulyanovsk is a town of glee

It has a lot of buildings, streets and museums

Where a man is happy, proud and free.

The town was foundedin 1648 as a fortressand was called Simbirsk then.

Simbirsk was a small provincial town with quiet little streets,wooden houses and many churches.

Today Ulyanovsk is one of the largest industrialand cultural centres of the Volga region.
