Dear Friend of U’Luvka

I wanted to write to you and tell you a little bit about the adventure that U’Luvka has takenme on over the last few years. But before I do I would like to acknowledge your role in the story.

80 % of buying decisions are made at the point of sale. In U’Luvka’s case that means primarilyat the bar. So without bartenders we cannot do our job, as they communicate the valuesof our brands and sell them to our consumers.

Without you we cannot do our job because you are our link with the bartenders. Thus youare all very important to us. I wanted to share some of this story with you before we meet.

I discovered U’Luvka, its story and heritage, 10 years ago with dear friends in Poland. Thesefriends introduced me to their famous Polish hospitality, the legend of U’Luvka and themagical U’Luvka glasses. This Polish tradition of drinking vodka and eating with friends oldand new enchanted me, especially when I woke up on the floor after the first time in theearly hours of the morning.

The rumours of this ancient vodka recipe not only were fascinating, but also by all thetraditions and rituals of friendship and pleasure that surrounded the story.

I learnt that in 1603 King Sigismund III of Poland commissioned the famous alchemistSendivogius to develop a vodka of the finest purity and most exceptional quality that couldbe enjoyed by his royal court, and thus spare them the consequences of their many latenights. Legend has it that what he created was so extraordinary that he was hailed a genius.

Searching through many ancient archives, court records and legends, I eventuallyrediscovered this centuries old royal Polish recipe. It has been meticulously recreated, usingonly the finest ingredients, by one of Poland’s foremost distillers. The result is U’Luvka,outstanding, clean and elegant vodka of great heritage and distinction.This is now yours to enjoy.

of nuances: spice, sherbet, and nuttiness.

Shake the first five ingredients in ashaker and strain into an cubed icefilled high ball glass. Top with Soda

Soda Water

Muddle the sage and the sugaruntil the sage oils are released.Add the rest of the ingredients

Shake the U’Luvka with the rhubarb syroup and a pinch of

ground ginger on rock ice.Strain into a chilled Martini glass

QUINTESSENCE

1 bar spoon of Quince Jam

Muddle the quince jam and the Pearjuice on the bottom of a boston shaker

to break the Jam. Then, add the restof the juice and U’Luvka.
