When the OceanForest Hotel and Country Club was constructed, a 27- hole golfcourse was also built. Cateused the natural terrain of the land to create a scenicand challenging layout. The bentgrass greens have gen-tle, rolling contours and are above average in size toaccommodate a large volume of play and a wide vari-ety of pin placements.

Tiger’s Eye ~ is one of Ocean Ridge’s crown jewels.Tiger’s Eye is an upscale, daily-fee 18-hole golf coursecarved from a virgin pine forest. Tiger’s Eye is distin-guished by dramatic 60-foot elevation changes remi-niscent of the North Carolina sand hills and a stunningcombination of natural waste areas, native grasses,wild flowers, pine and oak trees and water, includingCarolina Bays, two waterfalls and marshland typical ofa coastal environment. With constantly shifting Tift-sport bermuda fairways, combined with large, severelysloped G-2 bentgrass greens, Tiger’s Eye is a thinking-man’s course requiring precise shotmaking and a reli-able shortgame. Tiger’s Eye Golf Links has beenconsistently ranked in the “Top 100 Greatest PublicCourses in America” by Golf Digest.

Leopard’s Chase ~ a $15 million golf course designedby Cate, opened to rave reviews in the Spring of 2007.Leopard’s Chase is a par 72 layout that stretches toover 7,100 yards. The course offers stunning naturalbeauty playing along expansive natural wetlands andfeatures dramatic elevation changes heretofore unseenalong the coast. Leopard's Chase also features stackedsod bunkers, premium bentgrass greens and TifSportbermuda fairways. The course also offers privacy, with
