• ThepresidentsubmitsabudgetrequesttoCongresseachFebruaryforthenextfiscalyear.

necessarilyallocatingfundsforthatactivity.Example:– “TheCommitteeisconcernedthattheDivisionofViralHepatitis[DVH]hasnot
beenadequatelyprioritizingHepatitisBvirus[HBV],sotheCommitteeencouragesDVHtofocusonstrategiesthatfocusontheeliminationofHBVforallpopulations.”
