The Spring Fling is made possible through professional development funds from each local, and is also supported by contribuMons from CUPE local 3742 and the PGPVPA (local Administrators AssociaMon). The success and quality of this conference can be a?ributed to the ongoing support of the PD Commi?ee Chairs, the numerous volunteers who contribute their Mme and energy, presenters and facilitators who willingly give of their Mme to share their knowledge, publishers who present their materials and provide door prizes, and District PD Commi?ees that enable each of the locals to share this common Professional Development Day. A special thanks to PGDTA president Tina Cousins for organizing the Friday night Social Event at Hummus Brothers and advice on the Saturday line-‐up, and to Marie-‐Claude Tremblay from BCTF for help with all aspects of the New Teachers Conference that we have woven into this year’s Spring Fling.
