On July 20, 2015, the California Community Colleges Board of Governors voted unanimously to recognize Clovis Community College as the 113th campus of California’s community college system. The campus opened in 2007, first known as the Willow International Center, then Clovis Community College Center, and now, Clovis Community College. Clovis Community College also offers classes at the Herndon Campus located at Peach and Herndon Avenues, which is four miles from the main campus. Clovis Community College serves nearly 10,000 students in California’s heartland and joins Fresno City College and Reedley College as part of State Center Community College District, one of the state’s largest community college districts. What is the Two-Year Pathway Program?Clovis Community College is offering students a Two-Year Pathway to earn their Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) in the following three majors:

Business AdministrationCommunication Studies

Psychology

In this program, students are also completing general education and lower division major requirements needed to transfer to a CSU or UC of their choice. If the student passes the designated courses, they will be eligible to transfer to a CSU or UC within two years.

What are the benefits of theTwo-Year Pathway Program?This program provides students the opportunity to begin their educational journey in an exclusive pathway group.

Students will have reserved seats in classes that are necessary to complete an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) in the above majors, while also fulfilling general education requirements.

Who is Eligible?Students that are graduating high school with the ability to immediately begin English 1A and Transfer Level Math.

What about Advanced Placement (AP) Credit?Students who have taken the Advanced Placement (AP) Composition or Literature course and passed the AP exam with a three or better are also considered college-level ready for the English requirement.

Once in the program, how can I makesure I stay in the program?Students must:

• Maintain a 2.5 GPA

• Agree to full-time enrollment

• Take classes as planned by the program

Program Advantages:• Priority registration & reserved seating in required courses

• Designated counselor to assist with student needs

• Tutoring assistance in core math and English courses
