WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL?Phuket International Airport, currently going through a major $180million expansion, bringing its capacity up to 11.5 million passengers by the year 2016, welcomes daily flights from many international destinations, including Hong Kong (3.5hrs), China (5.5hrs) and Singapore (1.5hrs), as well as Australia, Russia, the Middle East, the UK and Europe. Phuket is also just a one-hour flight from Bangkok, and currently around 30 daily flights arrive from the nation’s capital. From there, countless airlines serve every major city across the globe. Local airlines also quickly connect

Phuket to other cities around Thailand. Once on Phuket, navigating your way around the island is easy.
