The Rosary Society will gather in the lower
Church immediately after the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

SPECIAL COLLECTION VICTIMS OF HURRICANE LAURA
Bishop DiMarzio has requested that all the Parishes in
Brooklyn and Queens take up a special collection on
the weekend of September 26th and 27th, to give aid
and support to the victims of Hurricane Laura and the
California wildfires. Please be as generous as you can
and pray for all those affected by these devastating
natural disasters.

Introduction to the Liturgy of the Word
Ezekiel exhorts his audience to turn back to God, that
in so doing they will save their lives. Jesus tells the
chief priests and the elders that those who obey God
will enter the kingdom of God. Paul suggests a model
in Jesus, who humbled himself to do his Father’s will.
Let us listen to the word of God, asking for God’s
mercy for our failings and God’s grace to change our
minds and hearts.
What righteous act can I do this week that I have previ-
ously expressed reluctance to do?

Introducción a la Liturgia de la Palabra
Ezequiel exhorta a su audiencia a volverse a Dios para
que salven su vida. Jesús les dice a los sumos sacer-
dotes y a los ancianos que aquellos que obedecen a
Dios entrarán en el Reino de Dios. Pablo sugiere un
modelo en Jesús, que se humilló a sí mismo para hacer
la voluntad del Padre. Escuchemos la palabra de Dios
y pidámosle su misericordia para con nuestras faltas, y
su gracia para cambiar nuestros pensamientos y nuestro
corazón.
¿Que hobra buena puedo hacer esta semana, que anteri-
ormente he estado renuente a hacer?

FAITH FORMATION CLASSES
Faith Formation Classes are held at the school
building located at 86-37 53rd Avenue, on
Sundays from 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., from
September through May.
A new registration must be completed for all present stu-
dents as well as new students to attend our program. Parents
must bring the following documents when registering:
- Baptism Certificate
- Birth Certificate, if child is not baptized
- A Parish Transfer letter is required if child attended
another parish
For more information about registration or if you would be
interested in volunteering for the Faith Formation Program,

The 2021 Mass book will open on Tuesday, September
29th. In order to accommodate everyone, we kindly
request limiting the number of Masses to 10 per per-
son. Only one person will be allowed in the Rectory

RECEPTION OF HOLY COMMUNION
The safety of all is our utmost concern. Because of
this, we are not tired of reminding everyone to observe
the safety guidelines. We strongly ask everyone to
receive Holy Communion in the hand and must leave
their mask on when approaching the priest; after re-
ceiving the Sacred Host, move to the side, lower the
mask and consume the Sacred Host, then put back the
mask and return to your seat.
RECEPCIÓN DE LA SAGRADA COMUNIÓN
La seguridad de todos es primordial. Por eso le recor-
damos que todos deberán observar las reglas de seguri-
dad. Le rogamos que todos reciban la Sagrada Comu-
nión en la mano. Deberán permanecer con la máscara
hasta llegar al frente del sacerdote. Después de acep-
tar la Hostia Sagrada, moverse para el lado antes de
quitar la máscara para consumir la Hostia Sagrada.
Inmediatamente, colocar la máscara y regresar a su
asiento.
MUSIC MINISTRY
In accordance with the Diocesan guide-
lines, the Adult Choir will resume rehearsals on
Wednesday evening September 30th at 7:30 p.m. in the
Church. We will maintain all of the required safety
protocols. If anyone is interested in joining the adult
choir, which sings at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass,
please contact the Rectory Office with your informa-
