Wooden Valley Winery:
A winery that survived prohibition, the Lanza family took over Wooden Valley Winery in 1955. Since then, their winery has grown to be one of Suisun Valley’s Flagship wineries showcasing the fantastic fruit the valley has to offer. A great place to taste wines, I suggest trying their Petite Sirah, Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, and White Gamay.

Suisun Valley Co-Op:
The Suisun Valley Co-Op is a culmination of all of Suisun Valley’s hidden gems. Most of the wineries represented at the Co-Op are small boutique wineries and you will most likely meet one of the winemakers while you are there. The wineries represented at the Co- Op Include Blacksmith Cellars, King Andrews Vineyards, Mangels Vineyards, and Sunset Cellars.

Tenbrink Vineyards:
A family owned winery, Tenbrink Vineyards includes 60 acres of vineyards and 52 acres of fruit trees, nut trees, and heirloom tomatoes. In 2006 they decided to team up with winemaker Abe Schoener to create their own wines and have been hand crafting bold reds and elegant whites ever since. Wines served at the winery are – Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. By Appointment Only.

This has been by far and away my most favorite cave tour. The wines are delicious and the views are incredible. I would suggest splurging for this tour. Request Kevin Green as your tour guide if you can. You need a reservation as they only service 40 people a day.

Raymond Vineyards:
This is Napa's "hipster" winery in my opinion. They have great wines and funky tasting rooms. One room is totally encrusted in red velvet, another has crazy mirrors everywhere, and another has a 007 theme. An interesting tasting experience. By appointment only.

Benessere Vineyards: A boutique Italian style winery located in St. Helena. They make Sangiovese, Aglianico, and Sagrnatino wines just to name a few that are delicious. Really intimate tasting with an Italian vibe. You should make a reservation but they will most likely take walk ins.

Sterling As you board the gondola to your tasting you are whisked into the air with 360 views of vineyards. Once you arrive at the winery you can leisurely enjoy your tasting at each tasting station. A great place for large groups or the adrenaline loving wino. Walk ins welcome, however they do offer private tastings by appointment only.

Best Champagne wine tour in the valley. You must make a reservation in advance and it is worth it. Almost every bottle of sparkling is hand riddled. What is riddling you ask? Well you will get an education in sparkling wine while you taste and tour the underground caves full of delicious wine waiting to be bottled.

Ceja Vineyards: Ceja Vineyards is an ultra premium Latino owned Carneros winery. The family originally started working in the vineyards as grape pickers. Over time they were able to purchase their own property and start their own winery. The Ceja's have a tasting room located between Sonoma and Napa with a Brewery attached. The wines are all incredible. Make sure to try the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Red Blends.
