Combined with semi-dwarf growth, fine texture, and high density, Foxhound provides superior turfgrass quality across a broad range of sites. Foxhound shows excellent drought tolerance and also high performance under high temperatures. Excellent Brown Patch resistance contributes to long term survival and superior performance in the Southeast and Transion Zones. Foxhound also is very wear tolerant and shows fast recovery from damage. High levels of viable endophyte contribute to insect resistance and improved bioc and abioc stress tolerance, improved seedling establishment, and reduced weed invasion. ADAPTATION: Foxhound is recommended for permanent turf in full sun to shade in lawns, parks, sports field, sod farms, and golf course roughs. It can be blended with Kentucky bluegrass and other improved turfgrass species and maintained from ½" to 4" It can be overseeded into zoysia for a mix of cool and warm season turf to be used in the transion zone around the globe.
