THRIVE STUDENT MINISTIRES

Believe it or not, it’s that time again! Before we know it, AWANA will be in full swing again. Thinking ahead to our first night (Wednesday, September 4 at 6:45 pm), there will be AWANA registration in the foyer on August 18, August 25 and September 1. Please stop by one of those three Sundays to sign your children up (ages toddlers to 6th grade).

partake in this ultimate adventure challenge! Multiple

opportunities await your skills and talent. Dads, Uncles,

and Grandpas—bring your boys entering K-6th grade

to this adventure experience! Challenges will be

followed by a mouth-watering charcoal-grilled hot dog

bar with all the fixins’ and beverages to guzzle.

Promotion Sunday is September 8, 2019.

Children moving into Kindergarten, 2nd Grade,

and 4th Grade will be promoted. All Christ’s Cove

parents are encouraged to join us for our Promo-

tion Ceremony, which will be the first 20 minutes

of Sunday School (9:15-9:35 am).

We are in need of donations for the opening of our Awana Store this fall. The store serves as an incentive for our AWANA participants to earn ‘bucks’ to spend. Learning verses, completing sections and bringing visitors are just a few ways for them to earn ‘bucks’. We need items for ages K-6th grade. The sky is

the limit (Dollar Store, 5 Below)! See Bill Beauchamp with any questions.

A quick reminder: Sunday, September 1st

there will be no Sunday School. During Worship Hour , nursery will be provided for chil-dren ages birth up to two and a half. Kids ages two and a half and older will join parents for the Worship Service. PRESORTED
