TESC is one of the best-known exhibition and sports centres in Finland.

The complex of five halls with state-of-the-art exhibition, auditorium, meeting and sports facilities, combined with Finnresta’s restaurants, offers an excellent setting for a variety of events and occasions. The facilities are suitable for negotiations with ten participants or seminars with hundreds of attendees as well as various public and corporate events, meetings or festivities. Every year almost one million people attend events at TESC.

TESC is located in Tampere, less than 200 kilometres from the capital city of Helsinki. Thanks to the large parking areas and good transport connections, the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is easy to get to. Welcome!

The five halls at TESC provide an excellent venue for events of all sizes. Trade fairs, exhibitions, corporate events, galas, conferences, sports and other events can be held in a hall suitable for the size and requirements of the event.

The new Hall E improves the usability of the entire centre and allows the simultaneous existence of different events. It also ensures that larger events can be held at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.

Hall E offers a modern setting for corporate events, festivities, concerts, trade fairs, exhibitions and other events.

The hall is an excellent venue for an individual event as there are separate entrances as well as a restaurant on the second floor.

The wide passages between halls E and A make it easy to move from one hall to the other and thus these two halls work well together for larger events.

The hall’s wide range of hanging possibilities, numerous technical service connections embedded in the floor as well as the practical logistics centre ensure a flexible and versatile event.

Hall E is an 11,220 m2 event space

located on the northern side of Hall A.

It includes 5,260 m2 of exhibition space and a

3,100 m2 logistics centre that serves as a storage

and production facility for event subcontractors.

In addition, there are restaurants and meeting

rooms. The TESC Board of Directors decided on

the design of the hall in September 2011 and the

building permit was granted in October 2012.

Construction work proceeded smoothly and the

hall was completed in September 2013.”

Designer Tähti-Set Oy was responsible for the architectural design of Hall E, while Aki Hyrkkönen Oy served as the main contractor. The new hall cost EUR 13.5 million.

Financing Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd EUR 1.5 million, bank loan EUR 12 million with the City of Tampere as guarantor, return on investment 4%.

Meet ing and seminar rooms

The Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre has a total of 14 seminar and meeting rooms. The rooms are suitable for a variety of events ranging from small-scale negotiations to seminars with hundreds of attendees. The rooms can be used separately or they can be combined.

For larger events we recommend the Leonardo Hall on the first floor or the Stars Hall on the second floor of the Seminar Centre. The Mars, Jupiter and Saturnus seminar rooms can also be combined to accommodate larger events.

The meeting rooms are also located on the second floor. They can be rented out for negotiations, seminars or other events. Events can be open to everyone or only to a limited audience.

Leonardo Ha l l

Leonardo Hall is located in Hall D, near the entrance lobby. The hall is separated from the rest of the space with a movable partition wall. This versatile hall is suitable for many purposes such as seminars, conferences, galas, various corporate events or exhibitions. The space can easily be converted into an auditorium with the help of the retractable seating. There is space for an audience of 385 in the auditorium. Extra chairs can be placed on the floor in a theatre set-up to provide seating for over 500 people.

SPORTS FACIL IT IES

The Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre is also used for athletics, football, futsal and floorball.

The centre has a 300-meter running track with six lanes and a full-size football field. The grandstand in the largest hall has space for 1,500 spectators.

The versatile restaurants and cafés as well as meeting rooms are also available to the organizers of sports events. The lobby café is run by three local sports clubs: TPV, Ilves and Tampereen Pyrintö.

Tampere City Sports Services has reserved facilities for sports purposes from the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.
