Required CredentialsYou qualify to register for this 30-hour CCE- approved Certification program if you meet one of the following criterion: 1. You are a National Certified Counselor 2. You have a full professional counselor
license, e.g. LCPC, LCP, LPCC, LMHC 3. You have a Master's or Ph.D. in Coun-
seling 4. You have a Doctorate in a social or
behavioral science 5. You have a 4-year degree with 2500
hours of post-degree coaching expe-rience over a period of 5-years and one professional endorsement
Become a CIE Vocational TrainerTrainers are certified/licensed profession-als who meet local or state requirements to provide vocational services for young adults with significant barriers to employment.
Upon successful completion you will be able to:
•ImplementtheCIEprevocationalskillswith a 20-40 hour curriculum in a small group setting with up to 6 participants.
•Modelskills,involveparticipantsinrole-plays, team activities and provide self-assessment activities
•Offerleadership;focusonbuildingrapportand positive outcomes in a group setting.

Required CredentialJoseph D’Costa served in various positions in supervision until promoted to the Director of Management Services for the State of WI, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (retired, 2012). Yvonne Raffini, Ed. D, BCC, LPC-S provided school guidance services K-12 in WI and worked as a transition vocational rehabilitation counselor in WI and Texas. Held related coordinator and trainer positions at the University of North Texas (total of 25 years of service). Director of the Community Integrated EMPLOYMENT, Nonprofit, 2013-present.

CIE Participants will:Practice: problem solving in scenarios replicating co- workers, supervisors and in teams practicing assertive communication skills to fit-in and learn to adapt to a variety of conditions in the workplace.
Discover: ways to manage critics and importance of maintaining a positive attitude.
Understand: the role of a supervisor, company rules & rights.
Explore a Community Resource (Job Center) and a Business: dress up for mock interviews.
Develop: cultural competence, value work ethics & work-readiness skills.
