In the green season Trysil comes to life as natures theme park. Summer offers lazy days in the sun as well as intense ac-tivities. Autumn comes in bright colours with fresh air and lovely walks in the forest and on the mountains.
wildlife Trysil has a multifaceted wildlife and is especially known for having Norways highest density of elks. In our forest we also have bear, wolf, wolverine and lynx. Eventhough only a few are lucky enough to experience the shy bear in its true environment you can join a proffessional guide on a tour with elk-guarantee.
acTiviTies In the summer you can choose from more than 30 activities daily! Most activities are adapted to fit the entire family, for instance family rafting, family climbing or cycling. If you are more of a daredevil canyoning or extreme rafting might be perfect?
Irrespective of the reason – ask us and we will arrange an unforgetable stay. Our cabins and apartments are let out througout the year and are absolutely favourable in the summerseason. We can also offer you with a long term lease.
Trysil – nature´s theme parkAs springtime arrives and meltes the snow our everyday alpinelife comes toa rest and nature comes to life and offers exiting experiences for children and adults.

If you can’t see anything wrong in the fuse box, it is probably the main fuse that has blown, and you must contact the reception. To avoid overloads, please do not use all the hot plates, oven, microwave and sauna at the same time. Some of the panel heaters have signs showing a sun and a moon. If you set this on sun, the heater will be on 24 hours. The thermostat for the under floor heating is usually in the apart-ment, but may also be in the fuse box. The switch must be set on 1, and you can select the tempera-ture in degrees yourself. Never turn the switch off, and check that the temperature is set to at least 20 degrees before you leave.

hoT waTer – sTop cockIf the water turns cold, it will take between 4 and 6 hours to reheat. If you test frequently to see whether
the water is hot, it will take even longer. If a situation arises where you must turn off the stop cock, contact the reception. If a situation occurs where you need to turn off the stop cock, you will find it under the sink or in the shower. In case of a major leakage, please turn off the stop cock before you contact us for assistance.
dishwasherFill with dishwasher detergent, check that there is rinse aid in the machine (when it is full the display is black). Check the filter in the machine for food remains. Make sure the water is switched on.
fire alarmsThe fire alarm in the apartments does not notify the reception. The fire alarms in our large cabins at Skurufjellet (Nye Fjellstua, Fjellstua, Høyfjellsstua and Bjønnstua) are connected to the fire department.
user guide saunaNever use the sauna to dry clothes unless the heater is turned off. Clothing must hang well away from the heater. The switch is turned to number 1, 2, 3 or 4. (5-8 is for the timer). The left switch is an ON/OFF switch. Turn the switch clockwise until it stops and then back until you hear a “click”. The oven will
now get warm in a few minutes. The right switch is the thermostat switch. For maximum effect, turn the switch clockwise until it stops. For additional informa-tion, please read the reference in the cabin/apartment.
parkingTrysil Resort does not have any reserved spaces at the main car park or short-term parking at the stores. Cars will be towed away at the expense of the owners.
wasTe TreaTmenTWaste must be disposed of in correct containers, and not in or outside the cabins/apartment.
