About the Tropical Savanna ● The Savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs

and isolated trees, which can be found between a tropical Rainforest and Desert biome.

● Not enough rain falls on a Savanna to support forests. Savannas are also known as tropical grassland.

1:Africa: Kenya,Tanzania,Zimbabwe,

South Africa and Namibia.

Climate

The climate changes according to the season. ● The Savanna receives less than 30 inches of rain per year. ● It receives as much as 50 inches of rain.● But in the dry season it receives as little as 4 inches of rain it can also get very

hot sometimes in the Savanna.

are a lot of floods.● But during the dry season a lot of plants and trees dry up and die.
