Just a word
from
Mr. CurlesPatrick W. Curles • Executive Minister
Dear Children,
Do you like bunnies? I do. They are very soft, gentle creatures and I always enjoy spotting them on the farm or out in the country. But did you know that bunnies are also very nervous little animals? I think that part of the reason is that they are on the bottom of the food chain. Than means that lots of other animals want to kill and eat bunnies, but bunnies do not kill or eat any other animals. They only eat plants. That means that bunnies have to be on the watch all the time to make sure that hawks, foxes, coyotes and other animals don’t get them. They must live very anxious lives!
Some Christians live like those bunnies. They are always afraid something bad is going to happen and so they live very anxious lives.
But God does not want us to live that way. In fact, He is always calling us to live a life of peace. Peace is the inner calm that comes as a result of livening in a right relationship with God, yourself, other people and the world. Because we sin, we would never have peace. But the Bible tells us that for those who trust in Jesus Christ, Jesus is their peace. That means that through Jesus we have forgiveness of all our sins and that He gives us the power to live in peace with God through His Holy Spirit.
Are you sometimes anxious like the bunny? When you are, remember that Jesus is with you and therefore you can be at peace. Because He is with you, you can trust Him with everything and know that He will take care of you no matter what.
Pray for Mr. Mac and the others that are with him on thier mission trip to London.
Your brother in Christ,
Mr. Curles

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel
to the whole creation.’”Mark 16:15
This week’s missionaries live in Montgomery, and are part of our congregation. They are Marty Baas, Susan & Mike Bunce, Tom Danielson, Carol & Bill Jackson, Mr. McRoberts & his son, Claude Mc, and Marsha & Phillip Wood. The members of this team normally work in Montgomery and worship God with us every Lord’s Day. Their families are still here while they are away. Mr. Mac normally preaches the sermon on Sunday mornings, but he is part of this team. These people are taking time away from their regular jobs to visit and help a full-time missionary family who live near London, England.
The team left Montgomery on June 17th and will return on June 27th. While they are in England, they will help the missionary and several churches reach out to refugees and immigrants. The refugees left their country because a war was going on. Others immigrated to England to find better jobs and a new life. Most of those people are from false religions so they don’t know Jesus. The Trinity team will spend part of their morning praying for people who don’t know Jesus. In the afternoons and evenings, they will try to make friends with refugees and immigrants, and then talk with them about Jesus.
Will you pray for the Trinity Church missions team as they serve immigrants this week in England?
Missions @ Trinity PCAWrite a letter to our
missionaries!Would you like to write a letter encouraging our missionaries or thankingthem for the work they do for God? A letter from you would make their day! If you would like to write a letter to the missionary or family shown
this week, please write in the space provided below and put it in Mr. Tom’s box. He will make sure they receive it!

#460 “Amazing Grace”
Amazing Grace is probably the most recognizable hymn to most Christians. The simple words of this old favorite were written in
1779 by John Newton while living in England. Since his early life was filled with sin, this hymn is thought to have been his own
testimony of his conversion and life as a Christian. The melody is an Early American tune of unknown origin. This hymn is of great comfort to the sinner saved by grace! If you believe in Jesus and make Him Lord of your life, He will also forgive you of your sins!
#672 “Trust and Obey”
“Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.” Do you trust and obey your parents? What
happens when you don’t obey? You normally get into some type of trouble, right? Well, Jesus also has rules for you to follow and He gives them not to hurt you, but for your own good, just like your parents. For example, Jesus tells us in the Bible not to lie. Lying can hurt others, but it can also hurt you. When you lie you have to hide all of the time and try to think up other lies to cover your
original lie. Lies can make you feel really terrible. Jesus is trying to protect you. He knows what is good for you and all of His
Commandments are for your good. Trust and obey your parents and trust and obey Jesus.
