While offerings are off about 4% year-to-date from what was projected, expenses are 12.5% under budget. This leaves Trinity in a very favorable position through May. Let us give thanks to the Lord for his continued blessings and pray that we may continue to be faithful stewards until the day of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rob Fornoff, Chairman, Board of Finance Online Auction Opportunity: Because Good Shepherd Lutheran School was unable to host an in-person auction for 2020, they have asked CM Benefit Auctions to conduct an “Online Only Auction” from July 5 - 19. This online auction will include: Classroom Projects, any trips or items which have an expiration date, the Fund- An-Item, and other selected auction items! Small items such as Gift Certificates will be mailed to the winning bidder. All other items may be picked up at the school warehouse on either Friday, July 24 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. or Saturday, July 25 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Please maintain social distancing and other health guidelines when picking up your items. Portals of Prayer: If you aren’t back to church yet and would like a new Portals of Prayer please contact the church office and one will be mailed to you. LWML Mites: Debbie Fornoff will be collecting LWML Mites on Sunday, July 5. Camp Cilca: Camp Cilca is offering 3 day camps to choose from: Teen (ages 13 - 19) - July 11, Middle School (5th - 8th grades) - July 18, and Beginners (4th grade and under attend with a parent) - July 25. All day camps are from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Each camp has less than 40 spots. Find out more on-line: www.cilca.org or call 217- 487-7497.

TLC Face Mask Initiative

During the month of April, aninitiative was started to makefacemasks and supply them to ourcommunity during the Covid-19pandemic. In the past threemonths, over 3,300 facemaskshave been donated to frontlineworkers and others as needed. These facemasks have been madeby several Trinity members aswell as some friends of Trinitymembers. The team suspendedmaking facemasks effective June30. Should there be a need formore facemasks in the future,enough supplies are available forthe team to quickly beginproduction again. The Board ofChristian Service gives thanks tothe Lord for everyone who hasdonated material and supplies aswell as their time and talent. Ifyou still need a facemask orwould like to donate material forthe future, contact DebbieFornoff at 309-657-5158.
