TRIGON Association (AT) was established in 2006 as the association of non-profit subjects with purpose to implement international projects while maintaining principles of double identity.

Activities

o In cooperation with Labour Office we are providing professional practice and job rehabilitations mainly through:

• Advisory and motivational program,• prepairing for work.o Our clients receive practical training (up to 1 year) in simple work activities.

We implement small commissions for external customers (eg. landscaping, small timber and construction works etc.).

Employing of people with disabilities in sheltered jobs – laundry and work centre - building and finishing works.

VIZ CENTRUM

Registered social service for people with disabilities, which provides accommodation and long-term support for their integration into normal life.

Sheltered housing

Registered social service for people with disabilities, which provides counseling, occupational therapy, music therapy, computer and financial literacy lessons and other long-term support needed to achieve their greater autonomy and independence.

Social rehabilitation – day center

In cooperation with Palacky University in Olomouc, we released a special picture book for easier mastery of theoretical knowledge.

Education of social workers and workers in social services

In cooperation with the National Agency for European educational programs we provide trainings to professionals with and without disability at partner organizations AFPE, France, Les Genetes d'Or, France, CILS Cesena, Italy, FUTURA, Roma, Italy, EPTA, Bologna, Italy.

Exchangeable interships and research fellowships

We implement international stays for children and youth with specific problems in term of exchangeable programs.

For our clients we implement common visits of culutral facilities, trips and sports activities.

European days of handicap

European Days of handicap are prestigious international project whose program annually responds to actual issues of social care, health care and education of children, youth and adults with disabilities. Our aim is to link the project with the priorities of the European Union. Patronage over this event is traditionally taken by European Parliament, the European Commission and the Mayor of the City of Ostrava. Every year come to visit us more than 80 foreign participants from 13 countries. We cooperate with Palacky University in Olomouc, Ostrava University, Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Education, University of Roma Tre, Italy, and other non-profit organizations and government institutions from the Czech Republic.
