Welcome to Travel Wright The CompanyFormed as Wright & Sons in 1926 by Charles Wright & his sons Frank & Lesley, the company remain a family run business with David, Paula and Colin (Charles’ great grandchildren) all actively involved. The premises on Brunel Drive have given the company the ability to offer much improved boarding and toilet facilities to its holiday customers although unfortunately we cannot normally offer parking facilities for customers whilst they are away on holiday. Travel Wright continues to invest in upgrading its fleet of vehicles and in its valued staff on whom they rely so much. They are proud to be based in Newark and are very grateful to the loyal customers who travel on their tours. We look forward to another year of successful holidays.

Set in a breath-taking Bay and surrounded by rolling Dorset hills, Weymouth’s popularity as a seaside resort is attributed to King George III who came to bathe in the sea as a health cure. The beach here is superb and sweeps around the bay along the extended promenade to the busy harbour with its ancient stone pier, from which all manner of craft set sail. The town is noted as one of the top angling venues in the country and along with golf, cycling, walking and bowling, the opportunity for leisure is endless. HOLIDAY INSURANCEWe believe that taking out a holiday insurance policy, albeit not necessarily the policy which we offer, is a very important part of your travel plans. Have you considered that falling ill, suffering injury following an accident or even being unexpectedly called up for jury service is not dependent on where you are planning to travel? If you have to cancel your trip and we cannot transfer your booking, we may be forced to apply our published scale of cancellation charges. Also, if you are travelling inside the UK and you’re unlucky enough to be admitted to hospital during your trip and can’t make your return journey, the NHS does not cover additional accommodation, travel or repatriation costs. Unexpected costs such as these can add up, even if a close friend or relative can bring you home. Likewise, if you’re travelling abroad, you’re probably aware that medical and associated costs can prove expensive. The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is a reciprocal health agreement and is not a substitute holiday insurance policy. It does not cover additional accommodation, travel or repatriation costs.

A holiday insurance policy is available for passengers travelling on our holidays. This is arranged by Towergate Travel and is underwritten by Great Lakes Insurance SE (GLISE). Great Lakes Insurance SE is a German insurance company with its headquarters at Königinstrasse 107, 80802 Munich.
