What is a Travel Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating the company's travel needs.
Schedules hotel and flight accommodations and procures necessary documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances.
Travel coordinators make domestic and international transportation and lodging arrangements for an organization's employees.
Job duties could include reserving hotel rooms and rental cars and booking airline flights
Handle expense reports, reconcile corporate credit card statements and, in some cases, schedule meetings

Gain previous experience as a travel agent and eventually take training classes to get certifications as a travel agent
