Transportation News:

Attention seniors! Please check with your drivers and office

staff daily for transportation updates and run cancellations.

While we are doing all that we can to avoid taking runs down,

there may be days that this is not possible to do. Make sure

to call in advance to schedule pick-ups and look for notices

on your buses for transportation news. We appreciate your

understanding and cooperation.

Please note that there will be NO SHOPPING buses on

the following days:

Happy Senior Center Month! September is here which means that Senior Center Month is

here! This year’s theme highlights the many ways senior

centers lead their communities and inspire individuals to

master this phase of life. Individuals search to understand their

own needs amidst competing demands and responsibilities. This month we are celebrating

you—our members—and the many ways our senior center cultivates masters of aging!

Make sure to participate in our wide array of programs and activities this month

as we continue to look for ways to Enrich, Engage, Enlighten and Empower

you all here at the Old Bridge Senior Center!

Columbus Day Feast! Join us on Monday, October 9th for an Italian Lunch with

salad, pasta, homemade meatballs, dessert & a beverage. Stay for afternoon entertainment with Mike Reins!

Cost is $10 per person. Advance sign up is required. Please see Nancy,

Anna or Diane! Last day to sign up is October 3rd!

Join us for a presentation on fire and evacuation safety

here at the Senior Center by Fire Marshall Gerity. We will

also be conducting an evacuation drill so your

participation and attendance is important. We appreciate

your cooperation!


The Senior Center will host three paint classes:

Due to popular demand, we will be hosting 3 paint classes this

morning! Space is limited. Keep in mind that you can only sign up for

We will be hosting two sketch classes this month:

Monday, September 11th at 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 25th at 12:30 p.m.

No experience necessary. Space is limited! Keep in mind that you can only sign up for one date so that everyone can have the opportunity to take

Choices for the $5 lunch include: All American Burger, Clam Strip Platter,

Fishamajig®, Fish and Chips Platter, the Country Chicken Tenders, Grilled Cheese,

BLT or Turkey Club Melt. All meals also include a free Happy

Ending Sundae! If you are interested in going out to

lunch with your friends, the bus leaves at 11:20 a.m. on Thursdays. If you are driving yourself, you can go anytime

between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursdays!
