AR-RAHMAN (1) Bestowed the Qur'an, (2) Created man,(3) And taught him to express clearly. (4) Thesun and moon revolve to a computation; (5) And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) inadoration. (6) He raised the sky and set the Balance (7) So that none may err against the scales, (8) Andobserve correct measure, weigh with justice, and not cheat the balance. (9) He positioned the earth for allthe creatures: (10) There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusterssheathed,(11) Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. (12) How many favours of your Lord will then both

of you deny?(13) He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware, (14) Andcreated jinns from the white-hot flame of fire. (15) How many favours of your Lord will you thendeny? (16) Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. (17) How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?(18) He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, (19) With aninterstice between them which they cannot cross. (20) How many favours of your Lord will then both ofyou deny? -- (21) Out of them come pearls and coral. (22) How many favours of your Lord will you thendeny? (23) His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. (24) How many favours ofyour Lord will then both of you deny? (25) All that is on the earth is passing, (26) But abiding is the gloryof your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence. (27) How many favours of your Lord will you thendeny? (28) All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on Hispurpose all the time. (29) How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? (30) We shall soon be freeto turn to you, O weary caravans, (31)How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? (32)O society

of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyondthem; but you cannot unless you acquire the law.(33) How many favours of your Lord will you thendeny?(34) Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defendyourselves. (35) How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?(36) When the sky will splitasunder, and turn rosy like the dregs of annointing oil, (37) Which of the favours of your Lord will youthen deny? (38) Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin. (39) How manyfavours of your Lord will you then deny? (40) The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seizedby the forelock and their feet. (41) Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? (42) This isHell the sinners called a lie. (43) They will go round and around between it and boiling water. (44) Whichof the favours of your Lord will you then deny? (45) But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of hisLord, there will be two gardens -- (46) How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --(47) Full of overhanging branches --(48) Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? --

(49) With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- (50) Which of the favours of your Lordwill then both of you deny? (51) In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- (52) Whichof the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- (53) Reclining there on carpets lined withbrocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. (54) How many favours of your Lord will thenboth of you deny? (55) In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn beforethem, -- (56) Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- (57) As though rubies and pearls. (58) Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? (59) Should the reward ofgoodness be aught else but goodness? -- (60) How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?-- (61) And besides these two other gardens -- (62) Which of the favours of your Lord will then both ofyou deny? -- (63) Of darkest verdant green -- (64) How many favours of your Lord will then both of youdeny? -- (65) With two fountains gushing constantly, -- (66) How many favours of your Lord will thenboth of you deny? -- (67) With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- (68)How many favours of

your Lord will then both of you deny? -- (69) In them good and comely maidens -- (70)How manyfavours of your Lord will you then deny? --(71) Houris cloistered in pavilions -- (72) How many favoursof your Lord will you then deny? -- (73)Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- (74)How manyfavours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- (75) Reclining on green cushions and rich carpetsexcellent. (18) He has set flowing two seas that appear tomeet. (19) Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another. (20) So Omen and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (21)Pearls and coral-stone come forth fromthem. (22) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(23) To Him only belong thesailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. (24) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord willyou deny? (25) For everything on the earth is extinction. (26) And everlasting is the Entity of your Lord,the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable.(27) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord willyou deny? (28) All those who are in the heavens and the earth seek only from Him; every day is an

enterprise for Him. (29) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (30) Disposingall works quickly We tend towards your account, O you two large groups! (31) So O men and jinns!Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(32) O the groups of jinns and men, if you can cross the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then cross them; wherever you may go, His is thekingdom! (33) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (34) Flames of smokelessfire and black smoke without flames, will be let loose on you, so you will not be able to retaliate. (35) SoO men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (36) And when the heaven will split, it willappear like a rose painted red.(37) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will youdeny? (38) On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns. (39) So Omen and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (40) The criminals will be recognised fromtheir faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell. (41) So O men and jinns!Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (42) This is hell, which the criminals deny.(43) They shall

keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water. (44) So O men and jinns!Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (45) And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are twoGardens.(46) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (47) Having numerousbranches. (48) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(49) In the two Gardensflow two springs. (50) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (51)In which arefruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. (52)So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will youdeny? (53) Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens closeenough to be picked from under. (54) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will youdeny? (55) Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them,are untouched by any man or jinn. (56) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will youdeny? (57) They are like rubies and coral-stone. (58) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord willyou deny? (59) What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? (60) So O men and jinns! Which

favour of your Lord will you deny? (61) And besides them, there are two more Gardens. (62) So O menand jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (63)Densely covered with foliage, appearingdark. (64) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(65) In the Gardens are twosprings, overflowing with abundance. (66) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will youdeny? (67) In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. (68) So O men and jinns! Whichfavour of your Lord will you deny? (69) In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeousfaces. (70) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (71) They are houris (maidensof Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. (72) So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord willyou deny? (73) Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. (74) So O men and jinns! Which favour ofyour Lord will you deny? (75) Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. (76) So Omen and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? (77)Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord,the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. (78)

(22)O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny?(23) Histoo are the ships that run, raised up in the sea like land-marks. (24) O which of your Lord's bounties willyou and you deny? (25) All that dwells upon the earth is perishing, (26) yet still abides the Face of thyLord, majestic, splendid. (27) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (28) Whatsoeveris in the heavens and the earth implore Him; every day He is upon some labour. (29) O which of yourLord's bounties will you and you deny? (30) We shall surely attend to you at leisure, you weight and youweight! (31) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (32) O tribe of jinn and of men, ifyou are able to pass through the confines of heaven and earth, pass through them! You shall not pass

through except with an authority. (33) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (34) Against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not behelped. (35) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (36) And when heaven is splitasunder, and turns crimson like red leather -- (37) O which of our Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (38)on that day none shall be questioned about his sin, neither man nor jinn. (39) O which of yourLord's bounties will you and you deny? (40) The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall beseized by their forelocks and their feet. (41) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (42) This is Gehenna, that sinners cried lies to; (43) they shall go round between it and betweenhot, boiling water. (44) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny?(45) But such as fears theStation of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- (46) O which of your Lord's bounties will you andyou deny? (47) abounding in branches -- (48) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (49) therein two fountains of running water -- (50) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and

you deny? (51) therein of every fruit two kinds --(52) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (53) reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- (54) Owhich of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (55) therein maidens restraining their glances,untouched before them by any man or jinn -- (56) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (57) lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- (58) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and youdeny? (59) Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? (60) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (61) And besides these shall be two gardens -- (62) O which of yourLord's bounties will you and you deny? (63) green, green pastures -- (64) O which of your Lord's bountieswill you and you deny? (65) therein two fountains of gushing water -- (66) O which of your Lord'sbounties will you and you deny? (67) therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- (68)O which ofyour Lord's bounties will you and you deny?(69) therein maidens good and comely -- (70) O which ofyour Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (71) houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- (72) O which of

your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (73) untouched before them by any man or jinn -- (74) Owhich of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (75) reclining upon green cushions and lovelydruggets -- (76) O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? (77) Blessed be the Name of thyLord, majestic, splendid. (78)

THE MOST GRACIOUS (1) has imparted this Quran [unto man]. (2) He has created man: (3) He hasimparted unto him articulate thought and speech. (4) [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointedcourses; (5)[before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees.(6) And the skies has He raised high, andhas devised [for all things] a measure, (7) so that you [too, O men,] might never transgress the measure [ofwhat is right]: (8)weigh, therefore, [your deeds] with equity, and cut not the measure short! (9) And the earthhas He spread out for all living beings, (10) with fruit thereon, and palm trees with sheathed clusters [of

dates], (11) and grain growing tall on its stalks, and sweet-smelling plants. (12)Which, then, of yourSustainers powers can you disavow?(13) He has created man out of sounding clay, like pottery, (14) whereasthe invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. (15) Which, then, of your Sustainers

powers can you disavow? (16) [He is] the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunrise, and the Sustainer ofthe two farthest points of sunset.(17) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (18) He hasgiven freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet: (19) [yet] between them is a barrierwhich they may not transgress.(20) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (21) Out ofthese two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small. (22) Which, then, of your Sustainers

powers can you disavow? (23) And His are the lofty ships that sail like [floating] mountains through theseas. (24) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (25) All that lives on earth or in theheavens is bound to pass away: (26) but forever will abide thy Sustainers Self, full of majesty andglory. (27)Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow?(28) On Him depends all creatures in theheavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. (29) Which, then,

of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (30) [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-ladentwo! (31) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (32) O you who live in close communionwith [evil] invisible beings and humans! If you [think that you] can pass beyond the regions of the heavens andthe earth, pass beyond them! [But] you cannot pass beyond them, save by a sanction [from God]! (33) Which,then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (34) A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke,and you will be left without succour! (35) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (36) Andwhen the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil (37) which, then, of your Sustainers powerscan you disavow? (38)For on that Day neither man nor invisible being will be asked about hissins. (39) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (40) All who were lost in sin shall bytheir marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! (41)Which, then, of yourSustainers powers can you disavow?(42) This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call alie: (43) between it and [their own] burning-hot despair will they wander to and fro! (44) Which, then, of your

Sustainers powers can you disavow? (45) BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainers Presence stand in fear,two gardens [of paradise are readied] - (46) which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (47)[two gardens] of many wondrous hues. (48) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you

disavow? (49) In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. (50)Which, then, of your Sustainerspowers can you disavow?(51) In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. (52) Which, then,of your Sustainer s powers can you disavow? (53) [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining uponcarpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach.(54) Which, then,of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (55) In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whomneither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. (56) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers canyou disavow? (57) [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls (58)which,then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow?(59) Could the reward of good be aught butgood? (60)Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow?(61) And besides those two will be yettwo [other] gardens - (62) which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (63) two [gardens] of

the deepest green. (64) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (65) In [each of] these two[gardens] will two springs gush forth. (66) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (67) In

both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. (68) Which, then, of yourSustainers powers can you disavow? (69) In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and

beautiful. (70) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (71)[There the blest will live withtheir] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] - (72) which, then, of your Sustainers powers canyou disavow? (73) [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched erethen. (74) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers can you disavow? (75) [In such a paradise will they dwell,]reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. (76) Which, then, of your Sustainers powers canyou disavow? (77) HALLOWED be thy Sustainers name, full of majesty and glory! (78)

(8) And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance. (9) And the earth!He hath lain it out for the creatures. (10) Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed.(11) And grain chaffedand other food. (12) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? (13) He created man

of clay like, Unto pottery. (14) And He created the Jinn of a flame of fire. (15) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie (16) He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the twowests.(17) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (18) He hath let loose the twoseas. (19) In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. (20)Which, then, of the benefits of yourLord will ye twain belie? (21) There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral. (22) Which, then,of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (23) His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sealike mountains. (24) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (25)Everyone that isthereon will Pass away. (26) And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty andBeneficence. (27) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? (28) Of Him beggethwhosoever is in the heavens and the earth; every day He is in a new affair. (29) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (30) Anon We shall direct Our selves to you, O ye twoclasses. (31) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (32) O assembly of Jinn and

man! if ye be able to pass out of the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass out; ye can not passout except with authority. (33) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (34)Thereshall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defendyourselves.(35) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (36) And when the heavenwill be rent in sunder and will become rosy like Unto red hide. (37)Whfch, then, of the benefits of yourLord will ye twain belie! (38) Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn. (39) Which,then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (40) The culprits will be recognised by their marks,and will be lain hold of by the forelocks and the feet. (41) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord willye twain belie? (42)Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. (43) Going round between it and ballingwater fierce. (44) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? (45)And for him whodreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. (46) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lordwill ye twain belie? (47) With spreading branches. (48) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye

twain belie? (49) In which, will be two fountains running. (50) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lordwill ye twain belie? (51) In which will be of every fruit two kinds. (52) Which, then, of the benefits ofyour Lord will ye twain belie? (53) Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and thefruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. (54) Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twainbelie? (55) Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man norjinn. (8) And observe the weightwith equity and do not make the balance deficient. (9) And the earth He has put for the creatures. (10) Therein are fruits,date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). (11)And also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, andsweet-scented plants. (12) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (13) He created

man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. (14) And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame offire. (15) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (16) (He is) the Lord of the twoeasts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during earlysummer and early winter). (17) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (18) He haslet loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. (19) Between them is a barrier which none of themcan transgress. (20) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (21) Out of them bothcome out pearl and coral.(22) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (23) And Hisare the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. (24) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both(jinns and men) deny? (25) Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. (26) And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty andHonour will abide forever. (27) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men)deny? (28) Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to

bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)! (29)Then which of theBlessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (30) We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns andmen)! (31) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (32) O assembly of jinns and

men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never beable to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! (33) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinnsand men) deny? (34) There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not beable to defend yourselves. (35) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (36) Thenwhen the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. (37) Then which of the Blessings ofyour Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (38) So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinn as to his sin,(because they have already been known from their faces either white or black). (39) Then which of the Blessings of yourLord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (40) The Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) will be known by theirmarks (black faces), and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. (41) Then which of the Blessings of yourLord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (42) This is Hell which the Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.)denied. (43) They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! (44)Then which of the Blessings of your Lord willyou both (jinns and men) deny? (45) But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all theduties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW, and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evildeeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). (46) Then

which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (47) With spreading branches; (48) Then whichof the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (49) In them (both) will be two springs flowing(free) (50) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (51) In them (both) will beevery kind of fruit in pairs. (52) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men)deny? (53) Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near athand. (54) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (55) Wherein both will be those(maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymenswith sexual intercourse) before them. (56) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men)deny? (57) (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. (58)Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinnsand men) deny? (59) Is there any reward for good other than good? (60) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord willyou both (jinns and men) deny? (61) And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). (62) Thenwhich of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (63) Dark green (in colour). (64) Then which ofthe Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (65) In them (both) will be two springs gushing forthwater. (66) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (67) In them (both) will be

fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. (68) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men)deny? (69) Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; (70)Then which of the Blessings of your Lord willyou both (jinns and men) deny? (71) Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; (72) Then which of theBlessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (73) Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened theirhymens with sexual intercourse) before them. (74) Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns andmen) deny? (75) Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. (76) Then which of the Blessings of your Lordwill you both (jinns and men) deny? then deny? (25) All that is on earth will perish, (26) only the Person of your Lord, full of majesty andsplendour, will endure. (27) So which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn thendeny? (28) All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him eachday. (29) Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (30) O youtwain, who are a burden (on the earth), We shall attend to you and call you to account.(31) (We shall then see),

which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (32)O company of jinn andmen, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet youwill be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. (33) Which of your Lord's powers will youtwain you men and jinn then deny?(34) (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you,which you shall be unable to withstand.(35) Which of your Lord's powers will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (36) (What will happen) when the heaven will be split asunder and will become crimson likeleather? (37) Which of your Lord's powers will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (38) On that Daythere will be no need to ask either men or jinn about their sins. (39) (We shall see) which of the favours of yourLord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (40) The culprits shall be known by their marks, andshall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. (41) Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain youmen and jinn then deny? (42) (It will be said): This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. (43) Theywill keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. (44) Which of your Lord's powers will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (45) For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. (46) Which ofyour Lord's favours will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (47)These Gardens will abound in green,

blooming branches.(48) Which of your Lord's favours will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (49) Ineach of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. (50) Which of your Lord's favours will you twain you menand jinn then deny? (51) In both these is a pair of every fruit. (52)Which of your Lord's favours will youtwain you men and jinn then deny? (53) They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reachshall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. (54) Which of your Lord's favours will you twain you men and jinn

then deny? (55) In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom noman or jinn has ever touched before. (56) Which of your Lord's favours will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (57) Lovely as rubies and pearls. (58) Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you menand jinn then deny? (59) Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? (60)Which of the laudableattributes of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? (61) And besides these two there shall

be two other Gardens. (62) Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then

deny? (63) Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. (64) Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain youmen and jinn then deny? (65) In them will be two gushing springs. (66) Which of the favours of your Lordwill you twain you men and jinn then deny? (67) Therein will be fruits and dates and

(33) Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that yedeny? (34) There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will notescape. (35) Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? (36) And when the heavensplitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - (37) Which is it, of the favours of your Lord,that ye deny? - (38) On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. (39)Which isit, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny?(40) The guilty will be known by their marks, andwill be taken by the forelocks and the feet. (36) When the heaven splits asunderand turns crimson, like red leather. (37)Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? (38) Onthat Day, neither human nor jinn shall be asked about his sin. (39) Which favors of your Lordwill you both belie?(40) The sinners shall be known by their mark, they shall be seized by theirforelocks and their feet. (41) Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? (42) This isGehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied, (43) they shall go round between it, and between a hot,boiling water. (44) Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? (45) And for he who fears thestanding (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. (46) Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? (47) (Gardens) with many branches. (48) Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? (49) Therein are two running fountains. (50) Which favors of your Lord will you bothbelie? (51) Therein are two kinds of every fruit. (52) Which favors of your Lord will you bothbelie?(53) (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. (16) [He is] Lord of the two sunrisesand Lord of the two sunsets. (17) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (18) Hereleased the two seas, meeting [side by side]; (19) Between them is a barrier [so] neither of themtransgresses. (20) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (21) From both of thememerge pearl and coral. (22) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (23) And to Himbelong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains. (24) So which of the favors of yourLord would you deny? (25) Everyone upon the earth will perish, (26) And there will remain the Faceof your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. (27) So which of the favors of your Lord would youdeny? (28)Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about amatter. (29) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (30) We will attend to you, O

prominent beings. (31) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (32) O company of jinnand mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. Youwill not pass except by authority [from Allah]. (33) So which of the favors of your Lord would youdeny? (34) There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defendyourselves. (35) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (36) And when the heaven issplit open and becomes rose-colored like oil - (37) So which of the favors of your Lord would youdeny? - (38) Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. (39) So which ofthe favors of your Lord would you deny? (40) The criminals will be known by their marks, and theywill be seized by the forelocks and the feet. (41) So which of the favors of your Lord would youdeny? (42) This is Hell, which the criminals deny. (43) They will go around between it and scaldingwater, heated [to the utmost degree]. (44) So which of the favors of your Lord would youdeny? (45) But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - (46) So which of the

favors of your Lord would you deny? - (47) Having [spreading] branches. (48) So which of thefavors of your Lord would you deny? (49) In both of them are two springs, flowing.(50) So which ofthe favors of your Lord would you deny?(51) In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. (52) Sowhich of the favors of your Lord would you deny? (53)[They are] reclining on beds whose liningsare of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.(54) So which of the favors ofyour Lord would you deny?(55) In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before themby man or jinni - (56) So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - (57) As if they wererubies and coral. The Beneficent (God) (1) has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). (2) He created the human being (3) and hastaught him intelligible speech. (4) The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. (5) The plants and trees

prostrate before Him. (6) He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance, (7) so that you wouldmaintain justice. (8) Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. (9) He spreadout the earth for the people. (10) There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, (11) grainwith its husk and aromatic herbs. (12) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you

deny? (13) He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery (14) and jinn from the manycolored flames of fire. (15) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? (16) He is theLord of the East and West through all seasons.(17) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord doyou then deny? (18) He has made the two oceans meet each other, (19) but has created a barrier between themso that they will not merge totally. (20) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you thendeny? (21) From the two oceans comes pearls and coral.(22) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of yourLord would you then deny? (23) By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea likemountains.(24) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? (25) Everyone onearth is destined to die. (26) Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remainforever. (27) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? (28) Everyone in theheavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous. (29) (Jinn andmankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? (30) Jinn and mankind, We shall certainlysettle your accounts. (31) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then

deny? (32) Jinn and mankind, if you can penetrate the diameters of the heavens and the earth, do so, but youcannot do so without power and authority. (33) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord wouldyou then deny? (34) Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to

protect yourselves. (35) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? (36) (On theDay of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow likeoil. (37) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? (38) On that day there will

be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin (39) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lordwould you then deny?(40) The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by theirforelocks and feet. (41) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? (42) (Theguilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". (43) They will run around in blazing fireand boiling water. (44) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you thendeny?(45) Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens(46) (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors ofyour Lord would you then deny? (47) full of various trees. (48)(Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors ofyour Lord would you then deny? (49) In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. (50) (Jinn andmankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? (51) In them there are pairs of each kind offruit. (52) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?(53) (The dwellers ofParadise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from thetwo gardens. (54) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?(55) There will

be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. (56) jinn and mankindwhich of the favors of yourLord would you then deny (57) who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. (58) (Jinn and mankind) - which ofthe favors of your Lord would you then deny? (59) Can any thing else be a response to a favor but afavor? (60) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? (61) Besides this,there will be two other gardens. (62) - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you thendeny (63) - dark green in color. (64) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you thendeny? (65) In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. (66) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors

of your Lord would you then deny? (67) In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, andpomegranates (68) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? (69) Therewill be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. (70) - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord wouldyou then deny (71) - with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. (72) - jinn and mankind -which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny (73) - untouched by jinn or mankind before. (74) (Jinnand mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? (75) They will be reclining on plaingreen and beautifully printed cushions (76) (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would youthen deny?(77) Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. The Beneficent Allah, (1) Taught the Quran. (2) He created man, (3) Taught him the mode ofexpression. (4)The sun and the moon follow a reckoning. (5) And the herbs and the trees do prostrate(to Him). (6) And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance (7)That you may not beinordinate in respect of the measure. (8) And keep up the balance with equity and do not make themeasure deficient. (9) And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; (10) Therein is fruit and palmshaving sheathed clusters, (11) And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. (12) Which then of the

bounties of your Lord will you deny? (13) He created man from dry clay like earthenvessels, (14) And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. (15) Which then of the bounties of your Lordwill you deny? (16) Lord of the East and Lord of the West. (17) Which then of the bounties of yourLord will you deny? (18) He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meettogether: (19) Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. (20) Which then of the bounties ofyour Lord will you deny? (21) There come forth from them pearls, both large and small. (22) Whichthen of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (23) And His are the ships reared aloft in the sealike mountains. (24) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (25) Everyone on itmust pass away. (26) And there will endure for ever the person of your Lord, the Lord of glory andhonor.(27) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (28) All those who are in theheavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). (29)Which then of the

bounties of your Lord will you deny?(30) Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you twoarmies. (31) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (32) O assembly of the jinn andthe men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through;you cannot pass through but with authority. (33) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will youdeny? (34) The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defendyourselves. (35) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (36) And when the heavenis rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. (37) Which then of the bounties of your Lord willyou deny? (38) So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. (39) Which then ofthe bounties of your Lord will you deny? (40) The guilty shall be recognized by their marks, so theyshall be seized by the forelocks and the feet. (41) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will youdeny? (42) This is the hell which the guilty called a lie. (43) Round about shall they go between itand hot, boiling water. (44)Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?(45) And for him

who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. (46) Which then of the bounties of your Lordwill you deny? (47) Having in them various kinds.(48) Which then of the bounties of your Lord willyou deny? (49) In both of them are two fountains flowing.(50) Which then of the bounties of yourLord will you deny? (51) In both of them are two pairs of every fruit.(52) Which then of the bountiesof your Lord will you deny? (53) Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade;and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. (54) Which then of the bounties of your Lordwill you deny? (55) In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man norjinni shall have touched them. (56) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (57) Asthough they were rubies and pearls. (58) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will youdeny? (59) Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? (60) Which then of the bounties of yourLord will you deny? (61) And besides these two are two (other) gardens: (62) Which then of the

bounties of your Lord will you deny? (63)Both inclining to blackness. (64) Which then of thebounties of your Lord will you deny? (65) In both of them are two springs gushing forth. (66) Whichthen of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (67) In both are fruits and palms andpomegranates. (68)Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?(69) In them are goodlythings, beautiful ones. (70)Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?(71) Pure onesconfined to the pavilions. (72) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? (73) Man hasnot touched them before them nor jinni. (74) Which then of the bounties of your Lord will youdeny? (75) Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. (76) Which then of the bounties ofyour Lord will you deny? (77) Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor!(78)

(Allah) Most Gracious! (1) It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. (2) He has created man: (3) He has taughthim speech (and intelligence). (4) The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; (5) And theherbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration. (6) And the Firmament has He raised high, and Hehas set up the Balance (of Justice), (7) In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. (8) So establishweight with justice and fall not short in the balance. (9) It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His)creatures: (10) Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); (11) Also corn, with

(its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. (12) Then which of the favours of your Lordwill ye deny? (13) He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, (14) And He created Jinns fromfire free of smoke: (15) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (16) (He is) Lord of thetwo Easts and Lord of the two Wests:(17) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(18) Hehas let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: (19) Between them is a Barrier which theydo not transgress: (20) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (21) Out of them comePearls and Coral: (22) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (23) And His are the Shipssailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains: (24) Then which of the favours of your Lord willye deny? (25) All that is on earth will perish: (26) But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full ofMajesty, Bounty and Honour. (27) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (28) Of Himseeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He(shine)! (29)Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (30)Soon shall We settle your affairs,

O both ye worlds! (31)Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (32)O ye assembly of Jinnsand men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authorityshall ye be able to pass! (33) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (34) On you will besent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will yehave:(35) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(36) When the sky is rent asunder, and itbecomes red like ointment: (37) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (38) On that Dayno question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. (39) Then which of the favours of your Lord will yedeny? (40) (For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks andtheir feet. (41) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (42) This is the Hell which theSinners deny: (43) In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!(44) Thenwhich of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(45) But for such as fear the time when they will standbefore (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- (46) Then which of the favours of

your Lord will ye deny?- (47) Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- (48) Then which of thefavours of your Lord will ye deny?- (49) In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); (50) Thenwhich of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- (51) In them will be Fruits of every kind, two andtwo. (52) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (53) They will recline on Carpets, whoseinner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). (54) Thenwhich of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (55) In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining theirglances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- (56)Then which of the favours of your Lord willye deny?-(57) Like unto Rubies and coral. (58) Then which of the favours of your Lord will yedeny? (59) Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? (60) Then which of the favours of your Lordwill ye deny? (61) And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- (62) Then which of the favours ofyour Lord will ye deny?- (63) Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). (64) Then which of thefavours of your Lord will ye deny? (65) In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in

continuous abundance: (66) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (67) In them will beFruits, and dates and pomegranates: (68)Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (69)Inthem will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- (70)Then which of the favours of your Lord will yedeny?-(71) Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- (72) Then which of thefavours of your Lord will ye deny?- (73) Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- (74) Thenwhich of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- (75) Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets ofbeauty. (76) Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (77)Blessed be the name of thy Lord,full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. (78)
