Performance driven process

• From 2012 delay targets set for a full year (previously targets were referring to the summer periods)

• Capacity planning process focuses on the whole year• Despite lower traffic levels during winter, large scale project implementations

can impact on the yearly delay targets

• Synchronisation needed between multiple project implementations

• Coordination of all constraints at network level

Summary & lessons learnt

•Better recording of delays associated with the plan ned events, especially those which are subject to transition planning process;

•Advanced planning allowed improved preparation for each transition;

•Advanced coordination allowed early identification of conflicting areas;

•Good responsiveness of ANSP’s concerned including f lexibility on implementation dates;

•Shared operational experience from ANSP’s that had successfully implemented new ACC/System – provided encouragement also for ANSP’s pre-implementation;

•Good participation of ANSP’s in Transition Plan Mee tings.
