▼ Sari's

f §

Sari has manifested a large number of abilities, far more than a standard Autobot. 1 wonder what kind of protoform she was made from. Anyway, the first ability she demonstrated was focused energy blasts, fired from her hands.

Since upgrading, she’s exhibited that and several other offensive abilities. Including two Master Blades and a Hyperspace Mallet. She can also convert her hands Into a specialized keyboard-interface configuration.

CYCLONUS

I find Cyclonus, ze most recent addition to Team Chaar, a puzzling enigma. He appeared in a blaze of light and tachyons over New Kaon and smashed Into ze ground. Amazingly, his exostructure was largely Intact following this ordeal, and I vas able to reassemble him ... by Megatron's leave, of course. He vas disorlanted and begging the forgiveness of someone named “Galvatron.” More curiously, his internal chronometer vas mis-set but NOT mis-callbrated, perhaps Indicating some relativistic travel? Though ze others were suspicious of him, he soon pledged his undying and eternal loyalty to Megatron.

In ze short few centuries since he arrived, I have observed him to be cold, virtually sparkless. He cares for nothing and no one, and in his rare talkative moods he insists that the end is nigh. Ze others dismiss this as pessimism, but 1... veil, I have my theories. His loyalty to Megatron seems absolute but distant. I get ze sense that he is waiting tor something to happen to our, heh, glorious leader.

His power is amazing. He has transwarp circuitry integrated in his reactor linkage, allowing him to draw on an apparently limitless source of energy. What that source is, veil... again, I have my theories. Ze Bleedback blades he wields can sap ze strength of his adversaries or generate a wave of corrosive, blinding black light. He fires an oxidizing laser beam that does interesting things ven it hits. Definitely a Decepticon worth keeping an optic on. -Scalpel

Scooter / Jetpack

Oh, Sari. It is a dangerous world that we live In, what with her being an Autobot and all. That Is why I built this special transforming present for her. It Is designed specifically to Interface with her unique exo-structure. At first glance It appears to be an ordinary Seoord Scooter, no? But when you press this control here. It reconfigures itself into a jetpacki I added two Bader micro-turbines and built gyroscopes into the wheels for stability. Oh, but please don't tell

After we lost the Great War, our industrial base was denied to us. No longer were we able to construct massive Doomsday-class warships like the Nemesis or the Darksyde. We've spent the past two million or so stellar cycles clawing our way back to some semblance of an empire. Out on the galactic rim, far from Autobot space, we've finally gotten a half-dozen planets firmly under our stabilizing-servo. Building up my domain, Chaar, into a factory world is my highest priority.

One of the first fruits of my labor Is our small fleet of Thanatos-class strike ships, at last allowing us to project our might to distant solar systems. Though they don't have the sheer firepower or range of the capital ships of old, they are potent In their own way. Eight omega whip cannons can penetrate all but the densest of armor, while their starblitz torpedoes will lock on to a ship and pursue it even through transwarp space. Their small size lets them achieve unmatched acceleration, though It does limit the efficacy of their energy shields. My personal vessel. Kalis' Lament, has served me well for the past twenty thousand stellar cycles. -Strike

CYBERTRON AND ITS MOONS

^ CHAPTER 5: CYBERTRON ^

The gleaming jewel of the Autobot Commonwealth and the cradle that gave rise to the sometimes called “Transformers," Cybertron is perhaps the most important planet if entire galaxy. Millions of stellar cycles ago, Megatron started the Great War with expressed goal of using the AllSpark to turn Cybertron into an interstellar juggernaut. It the sacred duty of us Autobots to thwart his mad ambition, lest the innocent races o cosmos suffer. Though the war visited much destruction on its steel shores and platinum plains, we have rebuilt it into a shining beacon of commerce, science, and enlightenment.

No one knows the true origin of Cybertron, shrouded in legends ten billion years old. Perceptor conjectures that It evolved naturally, a sort of ateohnogenesis, Afew whisper that It was created as a factory world by some ancient power. Our oldest legends speak of a clash of primordial titans older than time. Personally, I decline to speculate.

Cybertron has two moons. The inner moon. Moon Base One, Is the larger of the two and has become an industrial center of some renown. Many of our energon farms and processing facilities are located there. The outer moon. Moon Base Two, Is a communications and computer facility second to none. -Ultra Magnus

CYBER-NINJA DOJO

Ah, my old stomping grounds, the Cyber-Ninja DoJo. I hated sweeping this place upl That rusting fool Yoketron took me in after it became apparent that I wasn't going to “fit in" at Autobot boot camp. Not the old codger's brightest move, as it turns out. Lucky for me, he had plenty of techniques that were well worth studying. If he'd stuck to Just those, I might never have gotten kicked out. But he insisted on mixing it in with his philosophy and I just didn't cotton to that sort of thing. Best solar cycle of my life was leading the attack on this place. Would'ja believe that the sensei had no upgrades? I had to console myself with his helmet. Well, that and a generation of Protoforms. -Lockdown

Where the Pit am 1? Based on what I can observe, I'm either on a very primative new planet, or on a very remote part of Earth. Either way, this mudball’s pure torture. There’s no technology, no media, nothing even approximating civilization.

Well, that's not entirely true. There were some very primative artifacts, like some standing stones that couldn’t possibly be natural. But whoever made them sure didn’t

almost finished using his multisynaptic phase relay to jury rig a signal beacon; I just wish I didn’t have to hear him whine about wanting his leg back! -Blackarachnia

CHAPTER 7: PROJECT OMEGA

OMEGA LABORATORY

There is an old Cybertronian saying: ‘desperate times call for desperate measures.’ I don’t think I've ever really accepted that philosophy. It’s true that we were taking heavy casualties during the war and not everybot had the backbone Infrastructure for that. But with the AllSpark hidden and no clear Decepticon objective, we had forced Megatron Into a war of attrition that favored Autobot industrial and logistical superiority. Still, our Magnus decided to take the drastic step of building living weapons, worse than anything In the Decepticon arsenal. I’d regret my Involvement more but for my friendship with Omega, a truly worthy spark. -Ratchet

ROAD RAGE

Yeah, I know her. Fancies herself a bounty hunter. Can’t say I understand her motivation. You hunt your target, you collect your fee. That’s the business. Little Miss Firecracker here thinks she’s bringing criminals to justice. Fortunately for her, we run In different, shall we say, social circles. Although I do fancy her Trilenlal sensors, allow her to see who’s packing heat and who Isn’t. I may Just need to relieve her of those some cycle. -Lockdown

CHROMIA Don’t let her baby blue optics fool you, this forensic accountant is tougher ‘n tetrinite. She’s a bigwig in the commerce guild, reporting directly to Decimus Quadrillons. Any ‘bots who have financial dealings which are, shall we say, less than stellar risk an audit from her. She collects Furnacian pottery, too, though don’t try to bribe her with any or she’ll come down on you twice as hard... not that I’d ever try anything as dishonest as that. -Rattletrap

FLASHPOINT

OMG. Flashpoint is my favorite Instructor of all time. Everything 1 know about search and rescue, I learned from her. I've seen her rush headlong Into danger without glancing back. Her enthusiasm Is contagious. The Rescue Patrol wouldn’t be the same without her, that’s for sure. With her extinguisher arm mod, she can douse huge blazes, and

if she hooks up her Hydro-Pack she can use it to spray almost any kind of liquid.

OhI I love her motto. “The hotter it is, the better I like It.’ She’s not Just talking about putting out fires, either! Tee hee hee. Can I say stuff like that? -Minerva

THE SUMDACS (Mirror Universe) My ‘bot Sentinel always told me that subjugating organics would be the key to overthrowing our antiquated Magnus. I figured he was kind of a piston for thinking so, and yet, here I am, forced to serve at the whim of Isaac Sumdac. Some cycle. I'll get my control collar off and show him who’s boss. -Optimus Prime (Mirror Universe)

tieh! -Bumbiebee (Mirror Universe)

BUMBLEBEE (Mirror Universe) I kinda like this freakbot. Maybe because he's such a coward, I never feel like I have to watch my back around him. He’s nothing like Prowl and his army of clones, or the demented genius of Ratchet’s 'experiments’, or the sheer power of Bulkhead. Mostly he hides in the shadows during combat, only popping up to thrash anything still twitching after the Autobots are through with them. Then again, maybe it’s Just that he keeps his mouth shut most of the time. Still, when he does open it, his giggles make my skin crawl. -Sari Sumdac (Mirror Universe)

OPTiMUS PRiME (Mirror Universe) Ah, Optimus Prime. Lesser minds might find exhausting our constant back-and-forth, the never ending game of

chess that we play, the eternal struggle for dominance. I find it invigorating. Besides, without him I wouldn’t have my vast robot armies, the impregnable Terrordrome, or such a capable (if resentful) leader of my crack squad of extraterrestrial assassins.

Optimus is brilliantly innovative, endlessly adaptable, and completely amoral. I can see how the strict structure of the Autobot Elite Guard would be stultifying to such an intellect. After he finally captures Megatron and the AllSpark for me, I will have to decide if the substantial risks of keeping him outweighs the benefits. -isaac Sumdac (Mirror Universe)

!

Dearest Daddy,

SKY-BYTE

With Cyclonus, Blackout, and Spittor off pursuing Operation: Distant Thunder, I’ve added some new members to the Team Chaar Roster. One ‘Con I’ve had my optics on for some time is Sky-Byte. He is everything I could hope for in a subordinate; brilliant, powerful, and in constant need of praise. I do worry that he doesn’t have quite the spark for the wholesale destruction of non-military targets. -Strike

Some ‘Cons just have no self respect. Take Blot. Please, take him! If I was in command, I’d have no use for such a brutish, shambling mound of spare parts. Granted, his nano-slime cannon can be devastating, but it isn’t worth putting up with his stench. Sometimes I wonder if his horrible hygiene isn’t something of a front, a way to push others away before his even more abhorrent personality does. -Starscream

MINDWIPE

Ah, yes, Mindwipe, mystical master of mind control. While his claims of communing with Decepticons who have long since departed are, of course, patently absurd, he never-the-less possesses the potent ability to mesmerize any weak-willed being who makes optic-to-optio contact with him. He made the mistake of attempting that little trick on me, once. It took Scalpel a dozen solar cycles to repair him. -Megatron
