The automatic cleaning of trains operating regionally and nationwide requires distinctly designed wash technique.
Several factors such as the shapes and combinations of trains, their varying designdependant on their drive system, the varying type of surface dirt (insects, diesel smut,abrasions by the pantographs, etc) make high demands an the cleaning performanceand efficiency of the equipment.
In addition the right choice regarding cleaning agents to be employed and theamount of dwell time before the physical brush wash is of paramount importancewith regards to the final wash result.

Even round, front and rear surfaces are cleaned with the 2swivelling (split) horizontal washcylinders.
The side cylinders are controlledby an active power measurementfor even and thorough wash results. Even slightly vaulted sideareas are optimally cleaned bya mixture of diverse trimminglengths on the brush shaft.

The vehicle wash can be carriedout despite the pantographbeing folded out with the 2 swivelling (split) horizontalwash cylinders.

The train wash unit can be desi-gned as a stationary, semi-stationary, or mobile wash fortrains without pantographs.
The TRAINWASH can be obtained as a 3-brush wash unitor as a 5-brush wash unit.

The train wash unit model C1000SOA can be designed as a statio-nary wash unit for trains with or without pantographs, withoutbeing restricted by the length ofthe train
The side surfaces and alternativelythe slanted roof surfaces can becleaned during the drive-throughprocess (with additional wash cylinders at a surcharge)
Depending on the speed at whichthe train drives through the washunit, the unit is construed with arespective amount of cylinderpairs for applying the wash chemicals and washing off thedissolved grime. The unit is completed with free-standingspray and rinse stands.
