Message From the Minister
About Ministry of Gender Equality
Dear participants,
As the Minister for Gender Equality, I would like to express my heartfelt welcome to
all of you.
As the society shifts towards more of a knowledge and information based society,
the improvement and the use of the information technology greatly influences the
whole Asian Pacific economies including Korea. Also with the digital gap between
nations becoming an issue, the role of women who are familiar with information
technology are needed more than ever.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Gender Equality plans to host a training program that
would
build an Asia-Pacific digital network, and also extend the women’s economical
activities in
our society. Further, it intends to support the women to increase their information
capability.
I would like to hereby ask for your kind support and participation
Thank you.
Jang Ha Jin
