The project includes both th e civil engineering and the construction of the accelerator. The TPS project anticipates to complete the core buildings of the TPS in 4.5 years, including 2 years of planning and designing and 2.5 years of civ il construction, with NT$2.78 billions. Currently, the plan includes the stora ge ring, the administration and operation center, the academic activity center, the utility building Phase-III, and surrounding facilities. We have overcome the limitations of the current site and came up with a construction plan of a 3 GeV machine of 24 straight sections with circumference of 518 m. At this mom ent, the design of the accelerator has been accomplished and we are moving int o the procurement, installation, and testing of the major systems. Currently, the TPS project is heading into a new era. We envision the ground breaking of the TPS project in the near future and we sincerely invite all of you to join us to witness this great and significant moment. TPS Construction Area

TPS project is one of the major science and technology initiatives in Taiwan as well as a significant project of NSRRC. The project includes both the civil engineering and the construction of the accelerator.

The TPS project anticipates to complete the core buildings of the TPS in 4.5 years, including 2 years of planning and designing and 2.5 years of civil construction, with NT$2.78 billions. Currently, the plan includes the storage ring, the administration and operation center, the academic activity center, the utility building Phase-III, and surrounding facilities. We have overcome the limitations of the current site and came up with a construction plan of a 3 GeV machine of 24 straight sections with circumference of 518 m. At this moment, the design of the accelerator has been accomplished and we are moving into the procurement, installation, and testing of the major systems.

Currently, the TPS project is heading into a new era. We envision the ground breaking of the TPS project in the near future and we sincerely invite all of you to join us to witness this great and significant moment.
