    Installing the Cabinet

    Fix the installation holes of expansion bolts and then install the expansion bolts.

    Install the cabinet.

    (Optional) Install PSUs.By default, the cabinet is configured with two PSUs. Determine the number of PSUs to be installed based on customer requirements. Each PSU can output a maximum of 50 A current.

    Install batteries, and connect cables, then install the battery baffle plate.

    Connecting Cables

    1 Preparations

    Connect cables in the following sequence: g1 > s1 and s2 > d1 > d2 > a1 > a2

    Cables a1 and a2 are routed into the left cabling holes at the bottom of the cabinet, and cables g1 ,s1, s2, d1, and d2 arerouted into the right cabling holes at the bottom of the cabinet.

    Set all the circuit breakers to OFF.

    Prepare terminals based on the actual requirements.

    3 (Optional) Installing Dry Contact Signal Cables and Communication Cables

    1.You need to determine the dry contact signal cables and communication cables to be connected based on customerrequirements.2. The following figure shows the ports on the monitoring module.

    Press the white contact plate using a flat-head screwdriver. Insert the two wires at one end of the signal cable into thecorresponding ports, and then pull out the screwdriver to fasten the dry contact signal cable.

    Connect the sensor cable and SPD signal cable to the corresponding ports on the UIM 02A.

    Connect the negative terminal and positive terminal of the storage battery to the power system: Loosen the upper bolts of thebattery input port, insert the –48 V power input cable and positive terminal into the cabling holes, and then tighten the boltssecurely using a screwdriver.

    Remove any of the three copper busbars through which the batteriesare connected in series.

    6 Installing AC Input Cables (a1)

    Route the AC input cables through the cabling holes on the left of the cabinet, and connect the neutral wire to the

    corresponding terminal.

    Connect the L1-phase, L2-phase, and L3-phase lines to the AC input circuit breaker.

     AC input cables support three-phase power input.

    Before connecting AC input cables, disconnect the ACDB f rom the TP48200A.

    8 Verifying the Installation

    NO. Item

    1 Verify that the cabinet is properly installed and that cables are securely connected.

    2 Verify that cables are routed in an untangled and orderly fashion.

    3 Verify that idle cabling holes have rubber plugs installed.

    4 Verify that cabling holes are sealed with fireproof mud and that idle cabling holes have rubber plugs installed.

    The fireproof mud is placed in the packing box of the cabinet base.

    5 Verify that short circuits do not exist between live wires (L1, L2 and L3), between live wires and ground cables,

    between live wires and neutral wires (busbar), and between 0 V copper busbars and–48 V copper busbars

    (between–48 V busbar measurement points 1 and 2 and the RTN+ busbar).

    6 Verify that the paint on the surface of the cabinet does not peel off.

    Set the circuit breaker for the battery string in the DCDB to ON.

    Install the removed copper busbar through which the batteries are connected in series. Then connect the battery string to thepower system.

    Commissioning the TP48200A

    1 Connecting Batteries to the Power System

    Set the power switch to BAT ON if no information is displayed on the PMU 02B after the circuit breaker for thebattery string in the DCDB is set to ON. Then set the power switch to Normal after two minutes to protect the battery

    string from being overdischarged. If the voltage of the battery string is lower than 40 V, set the power switch toNormal two minutes after the mains is connected. Otherwise, a power failure occurs on the PMU 02B.

    1. Set the preceding parameters based on the actual situation.

    2. The number of battery strings can be 0, 1, or 2. If one battery string is required, set the battery capacity

    according to the fuse position. For example, if the storage string is connected to BF1-, set the battery

    capacity to battery capacity 1; if the storage batteries are connected to the BF2-, set the battery capacity to

    battery capacity 2.

    2 Setting PMU 02B Parameters

    4. The parameter settings on the LCD of the PMU 02B are only for reference. For details on how to set PMU

    02B parameters, see the TP48200A & ETP48200 Monitoring Module User Manual.

    ▲or▼ You can press▲ or▼ scroll the m enu or set a selected parameter.

    Cancel Press Cancel to return to the previous menu without saving the settings.

    Enter  On the standby screen, press Enter to display the main menu.

    On the main menu screen, press Enter to display the sub-menu.

    On the sub-menu screen, pressEnter to save the settings.

    Notes:

    •The system information screen will be displayed if you do not perform any operations using the buttons within five

    minutes.

    •The background light of the LCD will turn off if you do not perform any operations within eight minutes.

    •On the standby screen, you can press▲ and Enter at the same time to reduce the LCD contrast, or press▼ and

    Enter to increase the LCD contrast.

    Connect the mains to the power system only if related battery string parameters for the PMU02B are

    correctly set. Otherwise, the battery string may be damaged.

    Check whether the voltages of the RTN+ busbar and -48 V measurement points 1and 2 are the same as the battery

    voltage displayed on the monitoring module using a multimeter. If not, contact related personnel or handle theproblems by referring to the TP48200A Maintenance Guide.

    Set the AC circuit breaker to ON and repeat step 1. Check whether the voltages of the RTN+ busbar and -48 V

    measurement points 1 and 2 range from 43.2 V to 57.6 V.

    Ensure that the power switch is set to Normal.

    Set the circuit breaker for the Load based on site requirements. The circuit breaker for the fan must be set to ON. Checkwhether the loads work normally. If a load works abnormally, handle the fault by referring to the user manual of the loaddevice.

    Verify that the fans run properly in the cabinet.

    Verify that the lamp is on in the cabinet.

    Re-install the protection plates on the ACDB and DCDB.

    Check whether the EMS can receive the information from the power system. If not, check whether the IP address is setcorrectly and the PMU is connected properly.

    Observe the operation of the power system for 15 minutes. If no alarms are generated, and current/voltage parameters of the

    storage battery and loads are set properly, lock the door to the cabinet, give the key to the cabinet door to the customer, andclean the site before leaving the site.
