Provent 200 Kit Prov-01 Installation Into Toyota Hilux KUN16 & KUN26 (from 2011)

Firstly, ensure there is a 140mm gap from the BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR to the AIR CLEANER HOUSING on driver’s side (as shown in photo bottom right).

**OTHERWISE THIS KIT WILL NOT FIT !!

Hilux Kit Prov-01: 140mm GAPPlease check distance between brake master cylinder reservoir and air cleaner housing on driver’s side. Gap must be 140mm.

Provent 200 Kit Prov-01 Installation Into Toyota Hilux KUN16 & KUN26 (from 2011)

STEP 1: Unscrew 5 nuts retaining the intercooler cover and remove off vehicle.

STEP 2: Locate breather pipe under intercooler on driver’s side of engine block. Remove bolt with 12mm socket & remove breather pipe from vehicle.

STEP 3: Cut steel factory breather pipe where shown in photo 30mm (Black texta line). The left over piece of pipe with the bracket welded to it is now not required (see photo).

STEP 4: Attach the cut steel pipe from above pic and insert the ribbed end into the rubber fitting where it came from, and point it in the direction of the outlet that it used to join.

STEP 5: Remove the 2 nuts attached to the ABS unit as shown (see photo).

STEP 6: Place bracket with Provent unit attached into position routing the drain kit hose through the coiled ABS lines & place bracket over the two ABS bolts & tighten with nuts provided.

STEP 7: Attach straight hose to top inlet of Provent unit and other end to the outlet from the engine underneath the intercooler (see photo).

STEP 8: Attach Lower hose with right angle to lower outlet of the Provent unit and route to previously cut steel pipe.

STEP 9: Cable Tie Drain Kit to hole in chassis as shown (see photo).

STEP 10: Return intercooler cover and tighten nuts. Provent Elements should last up to 40,000 kms or longer, you can leave the element in until oil residue starts to seep out under the top cap. Provent Elements should not be washed out. Instructional Video Link: Click to view video >
