We make all articles published in our Cell Press journals openly available on our website 12 months following publication; IJSS followed in 2005 at 24 months
In May 2005 we adjusted our author agreements to test allowing NIH-funded authors to meet NIH’s request that authors’ accepted manuscripts be posted to PubMedCentral within 12 months of final publication
