ECONOMY

Marble is one of the biggest natural resources of the small village. Its most distinctive feature is the bright red colour of the stone. Another great resource are the grapes, whose work, despite being poorly paid, is claimed by the common people, especially in summer, when people cover them with paper bags to preserve them until winter. Part of these grapes ends in La Romana cooperative, one of the largest in the province and where you can buy and taste different types of wines.
