Oral Cancer Resection - "Do It Yourself - Gloves On Hand"
Oral cancer ranks among the third most common cancers in India. Of late Head and Neck Oncosurgery is showing its prominence as a sub-
speciality on Surgical Oncology. With an array of specialities sub specialising in to head and neck oncology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons too
have taken their role as Oral Oncosurgeons well. Hence, this pre conference on oral cancer resection endeavours to give a first hand experience
to budding oral surgeons by experts in the field. At the pre conference we aim to operate 1-2 cases of oral cancer by Oral & Maxillofacial
surgeon trained in Head and Neck Oncology.
Plan of Case: Composite Resection + Neck Dissection + Regional Flap Reconstruction.
• Abstracts of paper/poster should reach the scientific committee on or before 30th Jan. 2019 at
• It is mandatory for the candidates to register prior to submission of abstracts.
• Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
• Each abstract should include a Title, List of all authors, Department, Institute / Hospital and City.
• The name of the presenting author should be written as the first author, certificate shall be issued only to the presenting author.
• The paper & poster should be on one PPT slide only and should be submitted by 1st March 2019
• Time of 3 mins will be given to every poster and 1 min. for questions and 8 mins. will be given to every paper and 1 min. for questions.
