1 .Aminoglycosides

• Gentamicin (Apigen®) and Topramicin (Tobrex® ointment , TopraDex® suspension) .

• Against gram positive and some gram negative bacteria .

• Used for bacterial infection in the cornea , eyelid and tear ducts.

• Side effects: burning and irritation.

• Phenicol ®• Bactericidal.• Mainly against gram negative as

• Store between 2-8°C refrigerated .
