Present thoughtful ideas to help the reader think about your points / topic.

Intro: “The Hero’s Journey” by Joseph Campbell presents the stages that all heroes must follow in order to achieve their quest. Each stage of “The Hero’s Journey” develops the main character to become the archetype of a hero. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan develops Percy from a 12 year old boy to a demi-god. Percy Jackson from The Lightning Thief aligns to (The Ordinary World) and (Entering the Unknown) from “The Hero’s Journey”.

Conclusion:Therefore, Percy Jackson follows (insert your own stage / Ordinary World) and (insert your own stage / Entering the Unknown) of Joseph Campbell’s “The Hero’s Journey”. Percy Jackson begins his journey as a misunderstood boy. He travels to a new world, Camp Half-Blood, where he begins his transition to a demi-god. Through these stages, the archetype of a hero is viewed through Percy’s journey as he enters Camp Half-Blood.
