Tommy Bahama Outdoor Living is pleased to announce the introduction of Pavlova – a new portfolio of outdoor designs poised to set a benchmark for classic styling. The collection will be shown at the High Point Market, October 12-17, 2018 in Lexington’s main showroom at 1300 National Highway. “The prevailing trend in outdoor living emphasizes clean lines and a classic design aesthetic,” said Phil Haney, President and CEO of Lexington Home Brands. “In developing Pavlova, we saw an opportunity to create a fresh new traditional look by exploring a styling direction that emphasized sweeping contours and graceful curves.” Designs in the collection draw from classic architectural references, featuring intersecting arches and spherical post caps. Occasional tables reinforce that look, with straight lines, flared legs, cross-stretcher bases and tops that emulate honed limestone. The lightly-textured graphite finish highlights the fluid lines of the frames against dramatic textile correlations for a sophisticated look. “Styling in Pavlova is best described as classic with a twist,” continued Haney. “When you consider the outdoor living space, its backdrop is generally the architecture of the home. For the majority of our consumers, that look is classic or traditional. In those cases, modern lines can create a disconnect. We believe Pavlova bridges the gap, offering a classic yet current portfolio that complements the styling of a majority of today’s residences.”

Tommy Bahama Outdoor Living Introduces Pavlova The High Style of Classic Design Moves Outdoors

HIGH POINT, NC – Quintessential outdoor living blends distinctive styling with a relaxed conversational layout and exceptional seating comfort. For outdoor dealers, a new selling feature in Pavlova will be the addition of a stocking program offering standard cushions on any dining chair or deep seating frame. This standard cushion will be upholstered in a correlation of SunbrellaÒ fabrics, with a natural canvas coloration on the cushion and contrast welts in dark graphite. This stocking program will offer dealers a highly saleable correlation, branded SunbrellaÒ fabrics, quick delivery and a more aggressive price point. “The vast majority of our business in Tommy Bahama Outdoor Living involves full customization,” concluded Haney. “But the addition of this new stocking program will offer dealers a great look, immediate delivery, a SunbrellaÒ performance story and the national recognition of the Tommy Bahama brand – all at a strong relative value. Particularly for a seasonal business, where inventory risk is a significant variable, we believe this program will prove a meaningful competitive advantage.” Pavlova will be introduced at the High Point Market, October 12-17, 2018 in the Lexington Home Brands Showroom located at 1300 National Highway. Lexington is also celebrating the grand opening of The Design Center @ Lexington Home Brands on the third floor of their iconic showroom on National Highway. A 25,000 square foot space has been transformed into a curated presentation capturing the essence of luxury home fashion and high-end interior design today. Guests will enjoy an inspiring workspace, with natural light, outdoor balconies, resources for every design project, and a café to fuel their creativity.
