What do these objects show us about life and beliefs in ancient Egypt?

The scrolls also tell us that the pyramids kept getting broken into by robbers. So instead of burying the pharaohs in pyramids, the Egyptians started burying them in tombs, in a place called the Valley of the Kings.

The Valley of the Kings is a rugged, rocky place. It was easierto hide the tombs and their treasures.

Only the pharaohs were buriedin the Valley of the Kings. Less important people were buried in smaller tombs in different parts of the country.

One of the most famous tombs that has ever been discoveredin the Valley of the Kings is the tomb of Tutankhamun.

One of the most important items found in the tomb was Tutankhamun’s golden death mask. What does the mask tell us about:

The importance of pharaohs?

The skills of ancient Egyptian workers?

The beliefs of the ancient Egyptians?
