ENTRANCE RITE

Processional Hymn Here I am Lord I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sin my hand will save. I who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send? Refrain: Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night. I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart. I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people’s pain. I have wept for love of them. They turn away. I will break their hearts of stone, give them hearts for love alone. I will speak my word to them. Whom shall I send? Refrain I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame. I will set a feast for them. My hand will save. Finest bread I will provide till their hearts be satisfied. I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send? Refrain

LITURGY OF THE WORD First Reading/Pierwsze Czytanie: Proverbs 3;1-9 Read by: Grzesiu Kaczówka Czytanie z Ksiegi Madrosci 3,1-9 A dusze sprawiedliwych są w ręku Boga i nie dosięgnie ich męka. All: Bogu niech będą dzięki.

Responsorial Psalm: The Lord is My Shepherd Psalm 23 Please repeat after the cantor and after each verse. Refrain: My shepherd is the Lord, nothing indeed shall I want. Second Reading/Drugie Czytanie Romans 14: 7-12 Read by: Daniel Wojcieszko

None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself. For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For this is why Christ died and came to life, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bend before me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.” So then each of us shall give an account of himself to God. The Word of the Lord. All: Thanks be to God.

PRESENTATION SONG Amazing Grace Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see! ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear, The hour I first believed! The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures. Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come. ‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. When we’ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we’d first begun.

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY MEMORIAL ACCLAMATION AMEN THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. RECESSIONAL HYMN Recessional Hymn: On Eagle’s Wings You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord, who abide in his shadow for life, say to the Lord: “My refuge, my rock in whom I trust.” Refrain : And he will raise you up on eagle’s wings, bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of his hand. The snare of the fowler will never capture you, and famine will bring you no fear; under his wings your refuge, his faithfulness your shield. Refrain You need not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day; though thousands fall about you, near you it shall not come. Refrain For to his angels he’s given a command to guard you in all of your ways; upon their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Refrain

THE FIREMAN’S PRAYER

When duty call’s me, oh Lord, wherever Flames may rage, Give me the strength to save some life whatever Be its age. Help me embrace a little child before it is too late Or save an older person from the horror of that fate Enable me to be alert, and oh Lord, guide my every move, For life is so precious, please don’t let us loose. I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me To guard my every neighbor and protect their property And if according to thy will, that I must give my life, Then with thy protecting hand my Lord, I pray thee, protect my children and my wife. Amen

The family and friends of Tomasz thank each of you for sharing in this celebration of his life. We are grateful for your Prayers, Love and Kindness.
