Travel and tourism is the world’s fastest growing industry, set to double by the year 2020 to be worth US$ 10.8 trillion. In the UAE, projects in the tourism sector are planned to make Dubai the World Tourism Capital with US$40 billion being invested. The UN’s World Tourism Organisation estimates that by 2020, the number of travelling tourists will approach 1.6 billion and the worldwide employment in this sector will rise to 296 million.
