Parents;
Thursday and Friday are semester exams. On the fol-
lowing page is the exam schedule for Thursday and
Friday. Teachers will inform students if they are ex-
empt from a final in their class based on six weeks
grades. If your child has excessive absences or tar-
dies they will be required to be at school Thursday
and Friday. Thursday and Friday are 1/2 days. Stu-
dents exempt will be required to be at school by 9:00.
Students with excessive absences or tardies will be
required to be at school by 8:00 am. Friday marks
the end of the six weeks and first semester. School
will resume on January 5th. January 7th is an early
release date. There is no school on January 8th and
9th. If you have any questions about finals or exemp-
tions please contact me. Have a good Christmas. ~

School Report card
The Texas Education Agency has released the 2013-
2014 School Year Report Card. The THS report card
will be mailed out with the 3rd six weeks student
report cards. To view the campus report card on
line click on the following link and you will be able
to see a link to the report card in the upper left cor-
ner of the THS website.

All classes: We will conclude our literature circles
with 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, and The
House on Mango Street on Monday. Tuesday,all
classes will participate in a discussion/debate activ-
ity, Inner/Outer Circle. Students will take their
STEMS and SAT vocabulary quizzes Tuesday as
well. Final exams will conclude the week's activi-
ties.
