Imagineering Club
For the last two weeks the

balloon powered racing car.
The had to think about aero-

testing; with this in mind, the
hall floor was used.
The results were:
1st Rebecca Bembridge
2nd Caitlin Ward
3rd Thomas Palmer.
The children have been practising their song
and signing for the ‘Sign 2 Sing’ sponsored
Zumba event on Friday 5th February. They are
really looking forward to find out how much
they can raise! Sponsor forms are to be re-
turned with any proceeds raised in a named
envelope by Thursday 4th February.
Year 2
This week with the Lego, Kingfisher class have
explored how to build different buildings
within our community. We thought about what
each building would need and how we could
work together with our kits to create bigger
models.
Reception
As we come near the end of our topic Help,
Help! the children in reception invited their
parents in to join in with ‘Muddy Monday’
and ‘Welly Wednesday’. They used natural
materials to create houses and had lots of
fun! It was a great turn out from parents
who we think did most of the building!
Mrs Parker and Miss Majer would like to
say a big thank you to all the children and
staff who have supported the cooking club
throughout the past few terms. We have
had great fun creating a range of differ-
ent recipes and are very proud of all the
children who have taken part. Mrs Parker
and Miss Majer are looking forward to
welcoming the new group of budding chefs
to the club next term.
Year 1
As part of their topic ‘Paws,
Claws and Whiskers’, the
children visited Woburn
Safari Park last Thursday.
This gave them an opportu-
nity to experience first-
hand the animals that they
have been learning about
this term.
