The Monkshouse Bafta Club is open every
school day from 7.30-8.45am and is run by
Mrs Inglis and her team.
The children have the opportunity to sit with
their friends, eat a healthy breakfast and
share some of the exciting things that they
have done at home the previous night. It
gives a really social aspect to their day and
allows us to reinforce the values of eating together whilst
developing their communication skills.
After they have eaten there are a range
of activities for the children to engage in.
Nursery, Reception, Year 1, 2 & 3, 4, 5 & 6
£2.50 per day
To reserve a place in the breakfast club, all booking forms
and payments are to be returned by the Wednesday
morning before the week that is required.
The after school club runs from 3.10-6pm.
The children are free to take part in a
range of activities including board games,
colouring, reading, laptops and homework.
It is a very informal club where the children
lead what they wish to do in a calm
environment. When the weather is
nice, the children go outside to
play some larger games before
coming in for their snack which
usually is filled pittas, filled bagels, toasted
muffin pizzas and often a dessert.
After school club fees are £2.50 per hour or part thereof
and bookings are done on the same basis as the breakfast
club.
A registration form will need to be completed for both
breakfast and after school club.
