BWARio.org | [email protected]
On behalf of the Baptist World Alliance, it is our pleasure to invite your ministry or organization to exhibit at the Global Conference of Baptist Women, July 3-6, 2021, and the TOGETHER 2021 Baptist World Alliance Congress, July 7-10, 2021, to be held at:
RIOCENTRO Exhibition and Convention Center | Av. Salvador Allende, 6.555 | Rio de Janeiro - RJ - Brazil
Thousands of believers from around the world will gather in beautiful Rio de Janeiro in July 2021, and it is our hope that their experience will be life-changing for them and for the community of Rio. In telling your story or sharing your ministry or craft at the Baptist World Congress, you can play a strategic role in introducing innovative ideas and creative resources to followers of Christ from around the world.
Congress attendees are diverse – Baptist businesswomen, farmers, denominational statesmen, educators, parents, emerging leaders, mechanics, students, historians, missionaries, and scores of other Christian workers and marketplace ministers of all ages and backgrounds. With streams for children, youth, and adults, families and people of all ages will experience this amazing event together. Your ministry or product could be the very one God uses to change not only a life but perhaps a whole church, village, school, or movement. Join us to see what God will do through us TOGETHER.
For more than 100 years, the Baptist World Alliance has networked Baptists to impact the world for Christ. Drawing from our meaningful history and looking toward our strategic future, we must continue to live as a global Baptist family who are together in prayer, support, and ministry.
In July 2021, we will have an opportunity to experience this global family together at the 22nd BWA World Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Congress will draw together the most globally diverse gathering of Baptists in the world to
pray, celebrate, and serve. Our theme, “TOGETHER,” is a wonderful expression of who we are as a unified body of believers and what we will experience during this special gathering. We
hope you will make plans to be a part of it!

WHO IS THE BWA? The Baptist World Alliance, founded in 1905, is a fellowship of 240 conventions and unions in 125 countries and territories, comprising 47 million baptized believers in 169,000 churches. The BWA is a global movement of Baptists sharing a common confession of faith in Jesus Christ, bonded together by God’s love to support, encourage and strengthen one another, while proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit to a lost world. In fulfillment of our mission to network the Baptist family to impact the world for Christ, the BWA is committed to the following five core ministry areas: • Strengthen worship, fellowship and unity • Lead in mission and evangelism • Respond to people in need through aid, relief, and community development • Defend religious freedom, human rights, and justice • Advance theological reflection and leadership development
WHAT IS A CONGRESS LIKE? DYNAMIC WORSHIP A highlight of every Congress is the joy of praising God with every tongue, tribe, and nation. Experience a preview of heaven as we worship together in song, dance, spoken word and the arts in styles as diverse as the many people who will gather together in Rio de Janeiro.
POWERFUL TEACHINGThroughout the event, participants will hear a diverse group of speakers from every region of the world, attend Bible studies led by scholars and pastors in multiple languages, and choose from more than 40 workshop. LIFE-CHANGING FELLOWSHIP The Congress will, for the first time, include the Baptist Youth World Conference, which has previously been held at a dierent time and venue. With streams for children, youth, and adults, families and people of all ages can experience this amazing event together as a unified, multi-generational Baptist family.
MEANINGFUL MISSIONIn addition to celebration and fellowship, the Congress will be a time of service. The BWA is partnering with Mission Brazil, a ministry led by Brazilian Baptists, to oer mission opportunities before, during, and after the Congress. Attendees will be able to share the love of Christ through prayer, witness, and service within the region.
PLUS A GLOBAL CONFERENCE OF BAPTIST WOMENPreceding Together 2021, the BWA Women’s Department will host the Global Conference of Baptist Women from July 3-6. “You don’t want to miss the Global Conference of Baptist Women!
