(M)y stand has been public forthe longest time, ani G. Aquino

I dont think they (economicrestrictions) are a necessary detri-ment to getting foreign investorsin this country, tugon ng Pangulonang tanungin hinggil sa bagongpagsulong ni Speaker FelicianoBelmonte Jr., malapit niyangkaalyado at mataas na opisyal ngLiberal Party, sa pag-amyenda saSaligang-Batas upang makaakit ngpamumuhunang banyaga.

senatorial ticket. At this time, adebate on Charter change will di-

vert our attention from more press-ing concerns to provide jobs to ourpeople, improve our economy andexpand social services, aniya.

Our earlier studieson that (showed that) variouschambers of commerce in thecountry have indicated a lot of is-sues, and the so-called economicprovisions (were) very low on thepriority (scale), aniya.

Rich girl falls in love with poor guy

just let go or if Ishould tell him what Ifeel. I cant sleep wellanymore and I alwaysend up crying atnight. Joe help me,my heart tells me todo it, but my mind is

so powerful that I al-ways think there is nochance for us becauseof our age gap anddifferent social status. My family will neverunderstand me.

Help me, Joe.Thank you for readingmy letter and morepower to your pro-gram. God bless you!

    Sincerely,Tina

TINA,You probably will stillcry yourself to sleep

for a lo ng time if youwill never be able to

get this of f yo ur che st.I dont see anythingwrong in telling him

your sentiments i f yo uhonestly think thatthat it will make you

    feel better.

Tina, youre in atough situation be-cause you know that if

you pursue this attrac-tion, you will not onlyearn the ire of your

    family but you will

    probably haveto explain toeveryone why

you had falle nin love with a

guy six yearsyour juniorand more so,with someone

who they may see asunequally deserving.

It is a co ld hardfact that even our per-sonal relationships aregoverned by reg ula-tions set unfairly by a

society which predomi-nantly discriminatesthe poor. Prejudice is a

fact of life. Althoughlove was never meantto have a price tag onit , reality would biteand remind us of somany discriminatoryand senseless rules .

Tina, there could bequestions raised when

you fall in love with aman years youngerthan you are. But,

there is nothing wrongin falling in love with

someone who isnt aswell off as you are. Itis only in the eyes ofmen that we see in-equality in love. Goddoesnt see things theway we see them . Andto Him being richdoesnt necessarilymean that you areblessed. Those who

have less are some-times happier thanthose who have every-thing money can buy.

Money should not bethe groundwork whererelationships must bebuilt. Love , under-

standing, and hardwork are better foun-dations that stand theharsh tests of time.

Tina, this is yourcall. It would be unfairif I tell you to forget

Joshua because of yourfamilys dislike andyour social differences. But, it would also beunfair to you if wekeep you from express-ing yourself and giving

yourself a chance tofind happiness. Tina,God will always have areason for giving andtaking things away

    from us. At times

when we may not beable to understand Hisways , we just have totrust His purpose. Godhas planned this longbefore it came to re-mind you that when

you find lo ve andwhen love finds you ,

you have to build yourdreams not on moun-tains of money nor

DEAR Joe,Just call me Tina. Im 27 years old

and working for our family business. My problem started when I metJoshua. Hes only 21 years old andhas been our messenger for a timenow. Hes nice, full of sense of humorand intelligent...but hes only a highschool graduate. Because of financialincapacity, he was not able to pursuecollege.

These past fewmonths, Joshua andIve been getting close.

I tell him my prob-lems, he listens to mycomplaints and hecomforts me like a re-al friend. My familystarted to notice ourcloseness and theyasked about it. Ofcourse I had nothingto say because theresnothing going on be-tween us. But, oneday he professed hisintentions and re-

vealed his feelings.Feelings, he said, hehad kept for a longtime. I was in shock,Joe. I knew he wasnervous and I felt thesincerity in his words.Hes not asking foranything in return. Hesaid just saying itmakes him happy. Joe,I wasnt able to sleepthat night. I dont

know what struck mewith that revelation. Ijust said to myself thatmaybe, its only infatu-ation he felt for me.

Days passed byand we became even

closer. I dont know,Joe, one day I just

    woke up having

strange feelings forhim. I began lookingforward to seeinghim. I get excited ev-ery morning to go to

work so I can seehim. But I cant tellhim all these, I cantlet him feel my trueemotions becausesomethings holdingme back, my family.Joe, I think Im fallingfor him. Its so hardto keep this all to my-self. Why did God al-low me to get intothis when he knowsthat this attraction

would lead nowhere? Why did I have tomeet Joshua and findout that I love him?

Joe, no one knowsabout this, not evenmy best friend. Noone will understand

me. I dont know if Iwill tell him my truefeelings. Hell be leav-ing soon to attend tothe needs of his moth-er in their hometown.

    I dont know if Ill

rivers of fame but onlittle hills of love , and

    streams of hard work

that will all lead to lifethat may never be richbut will always beblessed.

Webelieve in him (Trillo). We be-lieve in each other.

I shoot the balls extra be-fore and after practices. Coach

Alas helped me, ani Thoss.

We just have to be patient.Nothing comes easy. We allhave to adjust together andbuild that chemistry.

Paolo (Bugia), Nio (Gelig),Benedict (Fernandez), Nic (Be-lasco), Eddie (Laure) and Sam(Eman) outworked us. They

    embarassed the first group dur-

The Finals MVP is an icingon the cake. All of us areMVPs, ani Thoss, na sumusub-ok makapasok sa 12-man poolng Gilas Pilipinas na lalahok saFiba-Asia mula Agosto 1-11.

Bobcats back to HornetsCHARLOTTE, North Carolina Charlotte Bobcats ownerMichael Jordan is changing histeams name to the Hornets,

said a person familiar with thesituation.

The person said Jordan willdetail the timetable for thechange to be completed at anews conference the Bobcatshave scheduled for Tuesday.

NBA deputy commissionerAdam Silver previously said itwould take about 18 monthsfor the Bobcats to change theirname.

    That means Charlotte could

    once again become the Hornets

by the 2014-15 season. TheCharlotte Hornets had a selloutstreak of 364 games a spanof nearly nine seasons before

interest began to sag in the fi-nal years and Shinn relocatedthe team.

The Bobcats havent beennearly as popular in part be-cause of their struggles on thecourt.

Theyve only been to thepostseason once since they be-gan play in 2004 and finishedthe 2011-12 season with a 7-59record, the worst winning per-centage (.106) in NBA history.
