Overall Project Objectives
> Offer turn by turn bike routing directions
> Create a model for Denver Metro Region
> Document process with a travel diary
> Develop standards for national application
Main Project Objectives:
Promote our biking system> Underpasses

> Multi-use paths107 miles built72 more miles proposed
> On-street lanes miles*223 built70 more proposed
*Includes bike shoulders
> 95% of arterial streets have bike facilities

Main Project Objectives:Support Transportation Master Plan
> Hold vehicle miles traveled at 1994 levels> Reduce SOV travel to 25% of all trips> Continue reduction in mobile-source emissions> No more than 20% roadways congested> Create a multi-modal transportation network

GO SMART Boulder
> A CMAQ funded individualized marketing program designed to increase bicycle and transit trips in North Boulder neighborhoods.
> Highlighted GOBikeBoulder.net as a special tool to increase bicycle trips in their GO Smart Toolkit.

GO Smart Boulder
> GOBikeBoulder.net was used to provide personal bicycle itineraries to participating households.• Every household received maps
and directions to bicycle to downtown Boulder on off-road paths
• Each household could receive additional itineraries for up to three destinations within the city
