Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words. They came to him and said, “Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not? The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

sitting around you. Introduce yourself to

someone you don’t already know.

LOCAL AND GLOBAL

EVENTS AND INFORMATION

We believe that spiritual growth doesn’t just

happen on the weekend. It should be part of

our everyday walk with God. We call it

Worship Plus Two.

Come to WORSHIP on the weekends, plus:

1. Find a place to SERVE and

2. Be a part of a small GROUP.

Look for opportunities in this program, browse the website, fill out a

welcome card, or talk to any staff member to learn more about where you

"The Results Are In" Sunday, May 1st | 12:00 pm On May 1st, we had a congregational meeting where members approved the sale of

our campus to Friends of Beacon Academy. 127 to 1 was the final vote count!

One of the things we asked YOU to pray about was unity, and again at the prayer

service, we prayed for unity, and it was clear last weekend, God has answered that prayer!

We look forward to where He will be leading us and ask for your continued prayers for as we move ahead together.

Summer Schedule Our last Saturday Night Service will be May 14.

Over the last four years the Saturday night service has been a great addition to Cornerstone. “Saturday Night”

has given us the opportunity to reach new people with continued growth on Sunday mornings. With summer

approaching and Cornerstone’s sale to Beacon Academy on the horizon we'll be making the transition to two

Worship Services on Sunday mornings. We're sorry for any inconvenience this change may cause you or your

family. As we look to the future and a new facility we will once again revisit our worship schedule to see how we

can best reach our community. Thank you for your prayers and understanding.
