Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

- Joshua 1:9 The tribes of Reuben and Gad had many cattle. These people looked at the land near Jazer and Gilead. They saw that this land was good for their cattle. 2 So the people from the tribes of Reuben and Gad came to Moses. PRISM: People Responding in Social Ministry Your non-perishable donations of FOOD and PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS can be left in the wagon in the lobby. You can visit their newly redesigned website at prismmpls.org for information on great serving opportunities at the food shelf and the thrift shop too! Thanks for helping our community!

DAYD: Dinner At Your Door Deliver noon time meals to those in our community who are unable to prepare nutritious meals for themselves. Contact Jackie Barlow at 763-383-8684 for more information about driving for DAYD! Takes about 1 hour… Serve 1 time a month!

Share Life This Summer ! • Be a seed planter & experience something amazingly powerful! Loving hosts needed for Japanese students studying

at Bethel University for 3 weeks in August. Transportation help & stipend provided. Contact Deb Anderson at

• Christian homes needed for Chinese high schoolers attending Heritage Christian Academy in Maple Grove from

September '16 through May '17. In return for providing a loving home (including room, board and transporta-

tion), host families will be well-compensated monetarily ($800 monthly) as well as spiritually as they share the love of

Christ with our Chinese friends. Please contact HCA's Admissions Director Julie Herman at 763-463-2223.

Communion At Cornerstone we practice communion

approximately once a month. We encourage all

people who have professed a faith in Christ to join us

as we celebrate communion.

Pizza Nights Pizza is served at 6 pm after the service on the first

Saturday night of each month.

$3 per person | $10 maximum per family.

Prayer Team The prayer team is available down in front of the stage after each of the services. They would love to pray with you today.

Prayer Service Thank you to everyone who attended the prayer service last Sunday night.

We had a great turnout and are very thankful for everyone's prayers both at that

service and outside that service!

Business Meeting Sunday, May 1st | 12:00 pm On May 1st we will be having a congregational meeting where members present will vote on the sale of our campus

to Beacon Academy. Agendas and ballots will be available at the tables in the lobby following the second service.

Summer Schedule Our last Saturday Night Service will be May 14.

Over the last four years the Saturday night service has been a great addition to Cornerstone. “Saturday Night”

has given us the opportunity to reach new people with continued growth on Sunday mornings. With summer

approaching and Cornerstone’s sale to Beacon Academy on the horizon we'll be making the transition to two

Worship Services on Sunday mornings. We're sorry for any inconvenience this change may cause you or your

family. As we look to the future and a new facility we will once again revisit our worship schedule to see how we

can best reach our community. Thank you for your prayers and understanding.

Students will be putting together a great waffle bar brunch! All donations will help fund their Summer Missions

Trips. The Junior High are going to Lake Traverse, SD, June 17-24 and the Senior High are going to Philadelphia, PA,

July 8-17.
