(B) Hearing Impaired: Categories suitable for the posts :: The Deaf or those in whom the

sense of hearing is non functional for ordinary purposes of life. They do not hear, understand

sounds at all even with amplified speech. The cases included in this category will be those

having hearing loss more than 90 decibels (db) in the better ear (Profound impairment) or the

total loss of hearing in both ears.

11.2 A common merit list for the whole Postal Circle shall be prepared. For the said

purpose, the candidates shall indicate their preference in the order for Postal

Divisions/RMS Division/PSD in the online application. The Codes for each Postal

Divisions/RMS Division/PSD is given in the Instruction Sheet/ Information Brochure for

the applicant. Thereafter, the candidates will be allotted to the division as per their

preference based on their position in the merit list and availability of vacancy.

Such candidates who are not able to get the allocation in any of the Division of

his preference because of his/her performance, such candidates might be allocated to

the division where the vacancies exist. The candidates will have to give an undertaking

that in the event of his/her not getting the division in his preference, he/she is willing to

accept the appointment in any division to which he/she is allotted. The candidates

who do not indicate their preference, it will be presumed that they have equal

preference for all the divisions and may be allocated to the division where vacancy

exists at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

13. Examination Fee: - The Examination fee prescribed for all male applicants in

General and OBC categories is Rs. 400/-. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes /

Examination Fee.

displayed in the website for facilitating the applicants for indicating his preference of

division while submitting their on-line application.

the Jharkhand Postal Circle applied for is the prerogative of the Department and

application. Name of the Applicant or his/her father name etc. should be spelt

correctly in the Application as it so appears in the Matriculation Certificates/marks

sheet. Any change/alternation found/detected later on may lead to his disqualification

will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The registration number

along with password shall be sent to the Applicant to the given email ID and

SMS to given Mobile Number in the application. The Applicant has to use the

registration number and password for log in into the website where he can

generate, the challan in triplicate to enable him to pay the fee. Applicant has to

take out a print out of the system generated Fee Payment Challan. The Applicant has

to retain this number and password for future references.

(ix) Mode of Payment:- The Cost of Application Form and Examination Fee are

already prescribed in Para No. 12 and 13 above of this notification. The applicants have

to approach their nearest e-payment Post Offices in Jharkhand Circle, (listed under e-

payment link of www.indiapost.gov.in and to produce Fee Payment Challan printed by

him & to pay the FEE in CASH (INR) only. Once the fee has been paid, the Registration

process is completed. The Applicant can check his/her status of payment on the

www.indiapost.gov.in after 3 working days after payment of the fee. In case of Non-

payment the application registered will not be considered for further process. The

applicants who have registered the applications on the closing date of registration

are permitted to pay the FEE till 09th February, 2016.

certificates/documents. The application Registered on-line will be treated as Provisional

VISUALLY IMPAIRED, PH II – HEARING IMPAIRED, PH III – ORTHOPEDICALLY HANDICAPPED, Ex Serviceman. FOR ILLUSTRATION - A Hearing Impaired applicant belonging to SC Community should Select SC CATEGORY

IN No 4 AND PH-II in No 5.

Note: The applicant is to avail relaxation only for the Predominant disability. The applicant should be in

possession of Original Medical Certificate for the same issued by competent medical authorities in the prescribed format at the time of Online Registration. And should be able to produce as & when demanded / required.

महीिें ि क्रर्दिस बॉलस में नचनन्हत करें. सक्षम सशस्त्र बल के अनर्काट्ररयों द्वारा जारी मूल मुनि प्रमाि पत्र भूतपूिस सैनिक के

पास होिा चानहए.

Ex-Serviceman should possess the original discharge certificate issued by the competent armed force

authorities. They should indicate the length of service rendered in the Armed Forces in number of Years,

Months & Days in YY,MM,DD format in the given column which should be as per discharge certificate. If

applicant belonging to ex-serviceman fails to indicate the length of service rendered, process will not allow

the applicant to proceed further.

5.2 सिेारत सरकारी कमसचारी : (कम स ेकम ०३ िर्स) - अगर आिेर्दक सरकार में कम से कम ०३ िर्स तक भारत में कायसरत ह ै

SERVING GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE (with minimum Three years of service) - Select (YES/NO) from

SCROLL LIST. The applicant should inform his/her employer before registering online.

6. जन्म नतनथ : नतनथ, महीिा और िर्स र्दी गयी सूची से चुिें। (जैसा की मैट्रिक प्रमािपत्र मे उनललनखत ह)ै िोट: निर्ासट्ररत आयु सीमा और उपलब्र् छूट निज्ञापि / अनर्सूचिा के पैरा िमांक७ में संकेत कर रहे हैं.

आय ुसीमा का निर्ासरि ऑिलाइि पजंीकरि के नलए अनंतम नतनथ 06-02-2016 के आर्ार पर क्रकया जाएगा.

DATE OF BIRTH – Select DATE, MONTH & YEAR from SCROLL LIST (as mentioned in the Matriculation

Certificate).

Note: The prescribed Age limits and relaxations available are indicated in para No 7 of the Notification/

Advertisement. The applicant is advised to refer the same before filling this input & for claiming any

relaxation in age.

Age as on the last date of Registration:- The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as on

the closing date for Online Registration of applications from the applicants i.e 06-02-2016 .

Qualifying Examination of Matric Class Pass Examination. Enter percentage of scored marks in two digits and up to two decimals. Illustration - If an Applicant has secured 75.40% enter 75.40 in the boxes as 75.40.

MOBILE NUMBER – Enter only in DIGITS. Applicant to have a valid & working Mobile Number which should

be kept working till the declaration of results to enable to receive any communication.

आिेक्रर्दत पोस्ट के िम में डाक नडिीजिों /vkj,e,l नडिीजि के नलए अपिी िरीयता का संकेत (इच्छािुसार) भरें. बार्द में

उम्मीर्दिारों की मेट्ररट नलस्ट के अिुसार और ट्ररि स्थाि की उपलब्र्ता में नस्थनत के आर्ार पर उिकी पसंर्द के अिुसार

नडिीजि में आिंट्रटत क्रकया जाएगा. अगर उसके प्रर्दशसि अिुसार उिकी पसंर्द के नडिीजि का आिंटि िहीं क्रकया जाएगा तो

POSTAL DIVISION/RMS DIVISION/PSD APPLIED FOR - Select from SCROLL LISTS in the order of

PREFERNCE. Select ATLEAST ONE DIVISION OR maximum 7 Postal divisions/2 RMS division/1 PSD for the Postal Circle to which he/her is applying. Refer Code List 2.0 later in this document for the List of Postal

Divisions/RMS Division. The applicants are cautioned that they have to prefer Postal divisions/RMS division/PSD from the same Postal Circle.

15.1 Allocation of the successful candidates: A common merit list for the whole Postal Circle shall be

prepared in respect of all categories of posts put together. For the said purpose, the candidates shall indicate their preference of the Postal Divisions/RMS Division/PSD in the order in the online application. Thereafter, the candidates will be allotted to the division as per their preference based on their position in the merit list and availability of vacancy. Such candidates who are not able to get the allocation in any of the division of his preference because of his/her performance, such candidates might be allocated to the division where the vacancies exist. In the DECLARATION given below candidates gives an undertaking that in the event of his/her not getting the division in his preference, he/she is willing to accept the appointment in any of the division. The candidates who do not indicate their preference, it will be presumed that they have equal preference for all the divisions and may be allocated to the division where vacancy exists at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

EXAM CITY - Select THREE Examination Cities from SCROLL LISTS in the order of PREFERNCE from the Postal

Circle to which he/she applies. Select ATLEAST ONE CITY. Exam City is allotted as per the Preferences marked by the applicant. However depending upon of the candidature volume of the exam city other exam cities of Postal Circle may also be considered. The Applicants are clearly informed that the allotment of Examination City in the Postal Circle applied for is the prerogative of the Department and requests received for any change in examination centre/venue will not be permitted under any circumstances. Refer Code List 1.0 later in this document for the List of Exam Cities in the Postal Circles.

DECLARATION to be furnished– SELECT THE CHECK BOX (√) is mandatory for the eligibility. Applicant shall

carefully read the Declaration and Select the CHECK BOX (√). Selection of the CHECK BOX (√) indicates the Acceptance of all the Terms & Conditions mentioned in the Declaration.

SAVE – On pressing “Save” button, if applicant qualifies all the eligibility conditions system will save the

Applicant’s data and Prompt “Data saved Successfully”. Applicant is able to proceed forward for Uploading Photo

&Signature. If data is not saved, system will prompt the Shortcoming and shall go back to column of Missed Entry

or Short coming in the Eligibility.

फोटो सरकारी ट्ररकॉडस के नलए और परीक्षा की प्रक्रिया के र्दौराि इस्तेमाल क्रकया जाएगा.

ii) आिेर्दक के हस्ताक्षर: हस्ताक्षर की स्कैि की हुई कॉपी 10KB से अनर्क JPG / JPEG प्रारूप में अपलोड क्रकया जा रहा ह.ै

आिेर्दक के हस्ताक्षर सरकारी ट्ररकॉडस के नलए और परीक्षा की प्रक्रिया के र्दौराि इस्तेमाल क्रकया जाएगा.

UPLOAD PHOTO, SIGNATURE – On pressing “Upload Photo, Signature” button, applicant sees a page

where he/she can upload the Photo & Signature.

i. PHOTO – A recent and sharp Photo of Applicant in color of Passport size is to be uploaded. Do not sign on the

photograph and do not get the photograph attested. A soft/scan copy of photo is to be Uploaded in jpg/jpeg format of size not more than 20KB. Applicant's Photo shall be used for the official record and during the Examination process. In case there is a variation in the Photograph at the time of Examination in Paper I/II candidate is not allowed to take the examination.

ii. SIGNATURE– Signature of Applicant. A sharp scanned copy of recent Signature is to be Uploaded in jpg/jpeg

format of size not more than 10KB. The Applicant's signature shall be used for the official record and during the Examination process. In case there is a variation in the Signature at the time of Examination in Paper I/II candidate is not allowed to take the examination.

D. पूिासिलोकि (Preview): आिेर्दक भरे हुए आिेर्दि की पूिासिलोकि र्दखे सकते हैं. अगर िह बर्दलिा चाहता ह,ै तो िह

पूिासिलोकि CLOSE करे और िापस जाके आिश्यक पट्ररितसि कर सकते हैं. एक बार क्रफर से पूिासिलोकि र्दखे सकते हैं. और अतं में

पूिस संतुनि के बार्द सहजे (SUBMIT) बटि र्दबाएाँ.

आिेर्दक के नलए अनििायस ह ैक्रक उसकी फोटो ि हस्ताक्षर पूिासिलोकि में क्रर्दए गए बॉलस में अच्छा स्पिता के साथ क्रर्दखिा और क्रफट

बैठिा चानहए. अगर फोटो / हस्ताक्षर बार्द में र्ुंर्ला या बॉलस से बडा / छोटा होिा पाया जाता ह ैतो उसका आिेर्दि और / उसकी

उम्मीर्दिारी क्रकसी भी सूचिा के नबिा रद्द कर क्रर्दया जाएगा और कोई शुलक िापस िहीं क्रकया जाएगा.

PREVIEW – Applicant can see the Preview of the filled Application. If he/she wants to change, he can go back and

make required changes and Save once again. He/she can once again see Preview and only after he/she is satisfied

can finally presses SUBMIT button.

It is mandatory for the applicant to see that his/her PHOTO & SIGNATURE are seen with good clarity and fits into

the boxes given in the PREVIEW. If PHOTO / SIGNATURE are found to be blurred or smaller /bigger than the box at

the later stage its application & his/her candidature will be cancelled without any communication and no FEE will

be refunded.

E. प्रस्ततु करिा (SUBMIT) - यह बटि अंत में आिेर्दि सहेजता ह.ै प्रिाली एक अनद्वतीय पंजीकरि संख्या के साथ आिेर्दक

को "पंजीकरि सफलतापूिसक क्रकया गया ह"ै का प्रर्दशसि (संकेत) करेगी. यह पंजीकरि संख्या और पासिडस भनिष्य लॉनगि (LOGIN)

और संर्दभस के नलए ईमेल आईडी से आिेर्दक को भेजा जाएगा और आिेर्दक के मोबाइल पर एक एसएमएस (SMS) भी भेजा जाएगा.

यक्रर्द आिेर्दक को ईमेल िहीं नमल रहा ह,ै तो ईमेल खाता मे जंक ईमेल / स्पैम की भी जांच करें.

SUBMIT – This button finally saves the application. Please note that no changes in the Application Data will be permitted after this stage. Applicant is Prompted with the message “Registration has been done successfully” and (a Unique) Registration Number is generated for the application. This Registration Number along with a Password is sent to applicant’s email ID and also through a SMS on Applicant’s Mobile for future login and references. If applicant is not getting email, please check the Junk email/ SPAM too in the email account.

USING REGISTRATION No & PASSWORD

Applicant can use the Registration Number and Password to LOGIN for further information. On

successful LOGIN he/she finds the links PRINT CHALLAN TO PAY FEE, CHECK PAYMENT STATUS & PRINT

REGISTRATION SLIP.

G. भगुताि शुलक के नलए लप्रटं चालाि

"शुलक का भुगताि करिे के नलए लप्रंट चालाि" के नलए ललंक पर नललक करिे पर आिेर्दक शुलक चालाि लप्रंट कर सकते ह ैि शलुक का

भुगताि कर सकते हैं. यह एक A4 आकार के पेज पर लप्रंट करिे के केिल एक Laserjet या इंकजेट लप्रंटर का उपयोग कर सकते है.

PRINT CHALLAN TO PAY FEE

On clicking link for “PRINT CHALLAN TO PAY FEE” applicant generates FEE Challan needed to pay FEE. It

has to be printed using a Laserjet or Inkjet printer ONLY on an A4 size sheet.

H. शलुक का भुगताि करि ेके नलए ePayment डाक घर जािा:

आिेर्दक के क्रकसी भी ePayment डाक घरों में शुलक चालाि की हाडसकॉपी लप्रंटआउट (तीि प्रनतया ंएक A4 पेज पर) ले जा कर

िकर्दी में शुलक का भुगताि कर सकते ह.ै पोस्टल सकस ल में ePayment डाकघर की सूची एक िेब ललंक में र्दी गई ह.ै A4 पेज पर

चालाि की तीि प्रनतया ंशानमल हैं. र्दो प्रनतयां काउंटर से एकत्र क्रकया जाएगा और आिेर्दक भनिष्य में संर्दभस के नलए आिेर्दक की

प्रनतनलनप ि शुलक भुगताि की रसीर्द संनचत कर सकते हैं. काउंटर छोडिे से पहले, आिेर्दक अपिी संतुनि के नलए शुलक चालाि

भुगताि की रसीर्द पर मुक्ररत पंजीकरि के नििरि से मेल निश्चय रूप से करिे है

िोट: डाकघरों में शुलक जमा होिा पजंीकरि के समापि क्रर्दिस के तीि क्रर्दि बार्द बरं्द हो जाएगा

Go to ePayment Post office to Pay Fee

Applicant is required to carry hardcopy printout of FEE CHALLAN (Three copies one A4 sheet) to one of the

ePayment Post Offices and pay FEE in CASH. List of ePayment Post Office in the Postal Circle is given in a link. The

sheet contains Three copies of challan. Two copies will be collected by the Counter and applicant can retain

Applicant’s Copy for future reference. On payment of FEE in CASH Applicant will get a paper RECEIPT which is also

to be retained for future reference. Before leaving Counter, Applicant is required to match Registration details

printed on the RECEIPT with FEE CHALLAN for its correctness

Note: FEE collection at Post Offices will CLOSE after Three days of the closing day of Registration.

LOGIN & CHECK PAYMENT STATUS

For checking the “Payment Status” Applicant is to LOGIN after 3 days. If your payment till then has not been

reflected in the Registration System, to do enquiry applicant can send a query on the email ID

[email protected]. If Payment Status is “Paid” you may proceed to next for printing of

Registration Slip.

On getting status of “You have PAID the FEE”, applicant is required to print REGISTRATION SLIP for future reference.

WITH THIS REGISTRATION PROCESS COMPLETES. Applicant is to visit www.indiapost.gov.in website on

regular basis for getting further information.

३. आिेर्दक भती प्रक्रिया के अंत तक नियनमत आर्ार पर िेब साइट www.indiapost.gov.in का र्दौरा करे. िह परीक्षा /

योग्यता नस्थनत / काडस / परीक्षा स्थल/ भती प्रक्रिया / अिुसूची नस्थनत / अन्य जािकारी संबंनर्त में कोई भी अंनतम समय की

जािकारी / पट्ररितसि िेब साइट पर अपडेट प्रर्दर्शसत क्रकया जाएगा.

४. अंग्रेजी और लहरं्दी के पाठ के बीच अथस में कोई निसंगनत या अंतर के मामले में, अंत में अंग्रेजी संस्करि मान्य होगा.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. The Department reserves the right either to cancel the recruitment fully or partially, if any irregularity in

Conduct of Examination/Selection is noticed. Decision of the Department of Posts in respect of all matters

pertaining to this recruitment test would be final and binding on all the Applicants/Candidates. The vacancies

2 REGISTRATION by an Applicant is purely Provisional. Only after scrutiny of your application, your educational
