Why do we use AISG devices?
Antenna devices can be controlled and monitored remotelySave time and costWork becomes easierNo need to stop the current serviceImprove accuracy

NSBT / ASBT
NSBT / ASBTNSBT: NodeB-side Smart Bias Tee
ASBT: Antenna-side Smart Bias Tee
Used for AISG-TMA, gets power from RSU/RRU, can transfer signal from BTS.
Bias Tee BT used for common TMA, gets power from TAM, cant transfer controlling signal from BTS.

The typical faultsRTWP abnormal alarm TMA and RET cannot be detected (scanned)TMA communication link brokenRET communication link brokenTAM channel-n over-current alarmTAM channel-n power alarmTAM channel-n power off
RTWP alarm solutionsPossible reasons:Parameters in In-The gain should be accordance with TMA(12db)No power supply to TMA;Failure in communicating with AISG-TMA or problems on TAM board is the most common reason for RTWP alarms;
How to check output power? Fig.1 200V DC level for AISG device voltage test
How to check output power in NSBT?Check if NSBT has power output. When you do test, let NSBT connect with RSU/RRU through AISG cable, test the voltage between core and ground of NSBT.

ATMA or RET cannot be detectedInstallationNSBT model is not compatible with TMANSBT type is BTM4S2 in THUCheck the voltage of RSU28V for standard AISG TMA and RET device.
ATMA communication link brokenPossible reasonsInstallationThe NSBT model is not correctThe ATMA is DAMAGED No TMA
RET communication link brokenPossible reasonsInstallationATMA communication failureThe RET has faultNo RET
