General Regulations
1. Registrations*
*Should we not have the minimal number of required entries, the session might be cancelled. You can register by email only! It is mandatory to send your scanned entry form (filled in and signed) together with your proof of payment to [email protected]. You can transfer the money from a bank where you have an account or from Banca Transilvania if you do not have a bank account, into our account at Citibank Europe plc, Dublin – Bucharest, beneficiary British Council, fiscal registration code C.U.I. no. 9000 0000 26598, account number IBAN RO88 CITI 0000 0008 2601 2196. Please write your name and the name of the examination on the ordin de plată in the reprezentând section.

2. Confirmations of entries After entries have been received, candidates will be sent an e-mail (at the e-mail address specified above) confirming their entries, timetables and venues. If you have not received this e-mail at least two weeks before the exam date, please contact British Council Bucharest for details (021-307 96 00; [email protected] ). 3. Dates All modules take place on the same day and each lasts for 80 minutes. There will be a pause of 10 minutes between modules. 4. Refunds A candidate can withdraw his/ her entry on medical grounds only. He/ she may be refunded part of the exam fee (an administrative fee will be retained), provided that a written request is made to the British Council Examinations Services, accompanied by a statement from a medical practitioner. These should be handed in by email no later than 5 days after the examination date. Refunds are not granted for any other reason (including, for example, travel or clash of dates with local examinations). 5. Results / certificates Results / certificates are issued to candidates approximately 6 weeks after the exam. You will be notified via e-mail when certificates can be collected.
The British Council and the Examining Boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. We feel sure you will understand, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as
possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or re-testing at a later date.
